Dear Don...YOU'RE THE BEST!!! I really appreciate you transferring the memorials to my safe keeping. I would LOVE IT if you would take another photo of the memorial in the Spring. The one that is on line I can't read. You really made my day!

Did you get a chance to see the photos of Riley and Hulda Potter that I added? By this evening I will add much more and link them to their parents and children. THANK YOU!!!!

RELIEF LAWRENCE HART
I WAS WONDERING (HOPING) YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON RELIEF LAWRENCE HART SIMMONS # 81061812 BURIED IN SPRINGFIELD CEMETERY IN ERIE CO., PA.

I AM LOOKING FOR THE SISTER OF MY GG GRANDFATHER, SYLVESTER HART. THE FAMILY WAS FROM RUTLAND CO., VERMONT AND SYLVESTER, HIS BROTHER SAMUEL AND THEIR PARENTS MOVED TO LORAIN CO., OHIO ABOUT 1836. SYLVESTER AND SAMUEL ARE THE SONS OF GEORGE HART AND POLLY LAWRENCE HART. GEORGE WAS BORN IN MASSACHUSETTS AND POLLY IN NEW HAMPSHIRE. ONE SISTER, EUNICE LIVED HER ADULT LIFE IN NEW HAMPSHIRE AND ANOTHER SISTER, PHEBE, MOVED TO HILLSDALE CO., MICHIGAN IN 1855 WHEN GEORGE AND SAMUEL OPENED A SAW MILL IN 1855. IT WAS PASSED DOWN THAT IN 1855 POLLY WENT TO LIVE WITH A DAUGHTER IN PENNSYLVANIA. POLLY CAN BE LAST FOUND IN THE 1870 CENSUS LIVING WITH CLARK BALDWIN AND HIS WIFE. CLARK IS THE BROTHER OF SYLVESTER'S WIFE, MY GG GRANDMOTHER, RELIEF BALDWIN HART.

GEORGE HART DIED IN HILLSDALE CO., MICHIGAN IN 1857 AND I BELIEVE POLLY MIGHT BE BURIED IN SPRINGFIELD CEMETERY WITH THE BALDWINS. CLARK BALDWIN HAD PURCHASED GRAVES IN SECTION G-10 IN SPRINGFIELD CEMETERY IN 1899. I COULD NOT FIND ANY ADITIONAL INFORMATION ON CLARK BALDWIN.

THANK YOU FOR READING THIS.

RE: Samuel Bennett
Don, You are truly welcome. I am sorry there was no marker found
and that there are none for so many of your grandparents. In some
cemeteries in this area, there are slate stones dating as far back as
1810. I am in Wayne Co but go to Rochester via Perinton and would
have taken the photo for you had there been a stone. Maybe there
will be someone in my vicinity who has a stone. I photograph entire
cemeteries if they are small because there are few of us
Best to you, Paul

Rosanna Peters @ Springfield
Hi Don, its been awhile since I wrote you... THANK YOU for going to the cemetery and getting a photo of that headstone. I see its really starting to wear down. I saw your note about Rosanna being removed from the Christian Burial Ground. Is there a special section at the cemetery where all these people are or is there some history behind that old cemetery?

This is the first I have heard about it and now I am curious. I am currently working on locating more information on Rosanna's family, the Southworth's. She is my 3rd Great Grandmother.

Thanks again ~ Love your profile photo here at Find a Grave!!

Noticed that I had not removed my request flower, do that when I say thank you so much for the photos, so I assume that I did not. If I did, please accept this as heartfelt thanks again.

re Elva Alice Case
Hi! Hope this finds you well. Thanks so much for the info. I have added information about her parents and linked her first husband.

I have been working on Girard Cemetery here and there, so I will keep an eye out for her father.

In terms of where the headstone is located, I am sorry to say I do not recall exactly. However, if I had to guess I think it might be in the western side of the cemetery. Not the NW or SW part, more so in the middle. It is in the back portion, opposite the cemetery entrance, and probably in the next to last section.

Sorry if this sounds a bit confusing. I tried looking on the map and it really did not help much.

Thank you again. Have a great day!

Kind regards,
MrsJB
