Dear Brian,
I received your email regarding my family. Thank you for taking the time and effort to respond. I've sent you deletion requests for four of them; the other was already deleted. IF, you are okay to delete the four memorials that will be fine.

More important is your health. You've been such a wonderful person to me and I will never forget the many hours you have given to me and so many others who search for their family.

Love, and God bless. Susan Taylor

RE: Martha Jack
Plot numbers you mean? Don't worry about it overmuch, the city keeps changing their minds about who's buried in which plot exactly. I like having them there though so that people researching can have a clue to family relationships. I mean if you find your male ancestor and don't know who he married but there's a woman the right age buried next to him according to the plot numbers, probably his wife. Right now I'm attempting to find all the ones that have no plot number and getting that added in.

Hello Brian,
I just noticed that we have duplicate memorials:

My Great, Great Grandparents:
Theophilus Aime Jaques/Jacques 16625589 / mine 29894673
Wife of Theophilus:
Mary Aellion Miser, Jaques/Jacques 16625528 / mine 29895255

My Great Grandmother:
Susannah/Susie Frantz, Jaques/Jacques 16625555 / 30100113

Son of Theophilus and Mary:
Frank M. Jaques/Jacques 30661877/forgot to write your's
His wife Lillian May 16625496 / 30662246

I know you entered all of the above in 2006 and I had no idea they were there ... different spelling. The original name is Giauque and was changed to either Jacques and Jaques. Headstones and obituaries are with both spellings. I've even seen headstones with Jaeques. Ancestors from France/Switzerland.

Please let me know if I may leave my memorials. I've researched the family for years and would like to maintain my memorials on f.a.g.

Hope to hear from you. Susan

Second Cousins
Brian, I believe we are second cousins! My Great-grandfather is Thomas Jefferson Gillespie Jack. Yesterday, I met Nina West at the library in Lamesa, Dawson Co., and she was immediately interested that I was looking for information on TG Jack. I left her my information and she called me in a couple of hours to tell me she had located information you provided her about your family, including TG Jack. My grandmother was Maud Louise Jack Rankin and my mother, Eva Louise Rankin Rowden. I'm applying for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. I'd like to find some more verification that TG Jack is the son of Thomas Porterfield Jack. TG's death certificate shows his father is "Jack". No first name of his father or mother. I found TG's obituary which does not mention his parents. I also visited the Lamesa Memorial Cemetary and took pictures of headstones for TG and Martha Jack, George E and Lillian Jack, Wright and Texie Jack, Orville and Ruth (Jack) Weir, and Hilton Jack. I'd be willing to share these photos if you are interested in them. And, if you have any verification to prove relationship between TG and Thomas P, I'd be thrilled to have it. I'm always glad to find new cousin's and am so happy to have found you! Would love to hear from you.

Adam Jack's father
Yes, Adam Jack's father was James Jack III, who was born March 17, 1726, in Chester Co., Pennsylvania, and died before 1801.

If I stated otherwise, it was an error of statement, and I apologize.

I tried emailing you, but it bounced back as undeliverable.

RE: Anzonnette Price Jacks
You're very welcome. It took me longer and more times looking than it should have to find her grave site, but I was doing a lot of requests in that cemetery. The name Anzonette is unique especially for that time so finding her site was in my mind frequently. It seems silly but each time I did look for her I would say to myself "OK, Anzonnette, where are you?"

I'm glad you liked it.

RE: Carrie E. Jacks gravestone
You are very welcome. I was glad to be able to help you.

It is definately a 2. There is a comma behind the 2.It was just an error on the part of the person who put it in.. Those old stones are hard to read..

Childersburg Cemetery has some very old graves and many are broken and turned over , but that was the only Jacks that I found .

You can probably get the memorial transferred to you if you ask.. I have learned to like the transfers..

Blue Rose
Myrtle Hill
The records for Myrthe Hill, Rome , GA. do not show a Jack listed in the tine frames you've listed .
For more info on Myrtle Hill interments go to

Select the cemetery
Then on the search page type the last name, in the year box type in the date as (sample -1/1/2009), and select 10 years increments by changing year.
It will bring up all the Jacks in that range. Change the year in the date to get different range.
I hope this will help find your relatives.

John Jack
I have been trying to locate his grave for you. We checked every National Cemetery to see if we could find John Jack and there is one buried in Tennessee. I went to the office at Lebanon National Cemetery and they said you can call them and they will help you try to find him. The phone number is listed on here on the cemetery page. Best wishes, Kay
