The info. on the memorial is not correct.. someone posted the wrong headstone photo that is why I requested another one so the correct one could be posted.

I have moved the 4 burials that you requested from "Everett Jewish Cemeteries" to "Tifereth Israel Memorial Park". Is that the cemetery you mean? There is no option in Findagrave for Tifereth Israel Cemetery".

I sent the picture to my cousin, Cynthia, and she said it was her mom & step-dad's gravestone.

David Robert Fyffe

Nathalie Frances (Matthews) Fyffe

RE: William Chaplin
Keep the updates coming. I will be happy to add them. I haven't checked out the Acton library (building itself) lately, but did find they have a lot of good information online for Civil War vets that I have used occasionally to try and dig up additional info on CW vets. As you know, those old CW headstones are usually nothing more than a name and company. No dates.

Cheers,
Patrick

Fyffe unknown, Lowell Cemetery #42047808
I know that my mother's cousin Nathalie Francis (Matthews) Fyffe (3 Sep 1910 - 23 Aug 1989) and her second husband David Robert Fyffe (13 Feb 1913 - 28 Jun 1971) are buried in the Lowell Cemetery. Could this be their gravestone?

re: Highland Cemetery

Thank you Denise for the heads up about the dupe. I've removed the dupe and have linked up the wife's memorial to the original Nathaniel Treadwell memorial.

Best,

Denise,

He is buried in the new Dutch Reformed Cemetery in Lebanon Borough, NJ. This cemetery is on Brunswick Ave. the old one is around the corner on Cherry St.

I don't know how to send you the picture as I just joined and this is my first "venture" on find a grave.

He is one of our notables he came to Lebanon in 1854, kepy a ledger for 2 years on how poor the school system was in NJ. He studied law was admitted to the bar and also became supt. of schools for Clinton Twsp. which back then included what is now Lebanon Boro and all of Clinton Twsp. When he was elected to the state legislature he put forth a bill which in 1873 was combined with another, the Runyon Act, this created the NJ Dept of Education and the free school system in NJ.

Didn't know about centographs, that explains several other curious gravestones.

I haven't had the time to go and research every name and connect all the families. I am going to be doing that soon. Please hold your corrections.

RE: Are we distant cousins?
Yes! I was referring to Aunt Grace. I have not seen the booklet on Axel & Lydia. My father thought he had a copy but has not been able to find it. Does it have any info about Lydia's father, Daniel Persson?

RE: Are we distant cousins?
Nice to meet you cousin! Most of what I know about the Jacobsons before Aksel is gathered from ancestry.com. There might have been some research done by my aunt many years ago, I will have to check. I do know she spent time in Norway tracing another line in our family and hope she spent time on the Jacobson history as well.

Hello, I am new to this site and noticed you left a flower for my Great Grandmother Lydia Danielsdatter Jacobson, are you a Jacobson too? My mother was a Jacobson.

Did you see the reference in his bio. His tombstone was transcribed in the Groveland Cemetery and it was published in the Essex Antiquarium in 1906. Why would he have a tombstone in Groveland if he is buried in the smallpox cemetery?
