13063306 Jacob Sherred
Hi Joyce!

Jacob is my 6th great grand uncle and Iím wondering if you ran across his parents Arnold & Catherine or his brothers Christopher and Ludwig. They came to America in 1754 and settled in Manheim.

There are a ton of permutations of the surname but here are the people Iím looking for:

*Arnold (1714-1786) and his wife *Catherine or Catharina (1716-1786): Arnold Sheritz, Arnholtz Scherertz, Arnold Scherretts, Arnhotz Scherhartz

Their Children:

Jacob* (1740-1793 and his wife Elizabeth Rausch (1745-?): Jacob Sherred, Jacob Sheritz, Jacob Scherertz, Jacob Scherrets

Daniel (1748-1807 WV) and his wife Maria Catrina Meyer (1748-1811): Daniel Sharrit, Daniel Scherertz, Daniel Sherritt, Daniel Sharrets

*Christopher (1749-?) and his wife Anna Magdalena Rausch (1747-?)

Conrad (1751-1811 MD) and his wife Maria Margaretha Laed (?-1798): Conrad Scherertz, Conrad Sheritz, Conrad Scherrets, Conrad M Scherertz

John (1752-1811 TN) and his wives Elizabeth Kieffer and Catherine Crouse: John Scherertz, John Scherrets, Johannes Hannes Scherertz

*Ludwig (1757-1792)and his wife Margaretha Kieffer: Ludwig Sheritz, Ludwig Scherertz, Ludwig Scherrets

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

just a quick question on George-I can see the headstone has his wife as Barbara but the write up has it listed as Margaret and the surname is Dehn vs Dehl-just wondering if you knew why the difference.

headstone photos
Is it possible to request a photo of headstones?
I have a few distant relatives in the Norwich Cemetery in Colegrove, Pa. and I would really like photos of their headstones for my genealogy project. I live about 4 hours away in WV. Hope to hear from you.

Photo headstone of "Charlie & Harry Fuller" question...
If I did my research correctly I have two of these family members in my tree. I'm a descendant of Charles Raymond Fuller. If I did my research correctly, in a 1900 Census in PA, I see that Harry is his brother. Link below of photo you took is below:

I was wondering what you knew about them (if anything) please?! My email address is Thanks. :)

Jacob Sherred
Hi! A Jacob Sherred with those matching dates lived in Manheim twp York Co PA. I think that may be my ancestor, but cemetery records do not indicate he was buried there and his name is not included on the memorial where old stones were removed to. Can you please tell me how you found this grave site? Is it a broken stone found elsewhere in the cemetery?
