RE: Hines at Gypsum Hill
Thank you. I've checked them out and corrected a location for birth I'd recorded incorrectly. Interesting stones with the script names and transcriptions on some of them.

Hines at Gypsum Hill
Twin Cities, but grew up in Thomas County, KS. The photographs I requested are of an uncle's family members about whom I was curious.

RE: Gypsum Cemetery, Salina
Thank you for the website link to the cemetery listings. I've added them where I created memorials and submitted them to the memorials Ive asked to be photographed. I try to find listings when I can, but didn't come up with this website. Thanks, too, for being a photo volunteer. I live in MN.

Ernest AF Mueller
Hi Jeff. LOng time no talk. Wish I had more time to spend on my mother's side of the family, but am up to my ankle in alegators with my dad's side.

# 13756314 Ernest AF Mueller died on that date in May, rather than June. As to your wondering why the records show up at Ireton, thats a funny story. Appears my grandmother, his wife, Gatie bought a bunch of graves at the cemetery next to the church out in the country, but her relatives used up all the graves. So she got mad, had the old boy dug up and interned with the Poken family on her mother's side. Why she left the MUeller head stone is beyond me. Also interesting is that at the Popken site, the city accidentally sold one of the Popken graves. They too had to be dug up and reburied. WHich all does not surprise me as when we went to bury my father at the Richardson site in LeMars, the city tried to claim my great grandmother was buried in two lots, first under her maidenname and next under her married name. They further had three of our lots listed for sale. Of course I had to tell them if they uried anyone in our lots prior to getting this straightened out, I would be up in the middle of the night with my shovel to correct the error. TOok me a full day at the courthosue to find the paper trail show the city their ill fated ways. Thanks for taking care of my ancestors! And I do really mean that!

RE: Thanks
Your personal use of your family photos is not a problem. I just wouldn't want a whole lot of stuff being put where folks would have to pay to get them.

I guess we are related. Where do you live? I grew up in Dallas but moved to Bryan, TX 5 months ago.

Sarah and Bartlett had a dau Mildred (1866-1946). She married Thomas Jefferson Kirk in 1885 and they had Glenn Thornton (my grandfather).

Thanks, but I don't live in Kansas and the Dalhaus' buried there will probably be the only ones. Donald is originally from Illinois.
