Chrissie Titus Howell Gilbert

I noticed that you have entered Chrissie Titus Howell Gilbert and was wondering if you were related to her. My father's father is the Howell's and was hoping that maybe you were related to find out a few more things on that side of the family. Thanks

Sharon Howell

Mothers grave
I was a young Soldeir in the Army when my mother died in 1990. I recently retired and am livining in Oklahoma now. I rarely get home to PA at all.
I found this site while looking up my sons grave in the Fort Sill, Oklahoma cemetery (died June 2014 at 20 yrs old). I punched in my mothers name, never expecting to find anything.
What a surprise to find a picture of her grave marker. She really was the "worlds best mom" that people talk about. It has been a loss to me all these years and it is a loss that my kids never got to meet her.
All I can say is thank you for submitting the picture and info for her spot. It is appreciated.

RE: Preston Shaner
So Sevilla could be in this line. Do you have a kit on gedmatch? My husband's kit is A197293.

RE: Preston Shaner
You are welcome! My husband is related to Preston's wife, Vera Drick Shaner. He also has a Shaner ancestor and maybe you have her in your line? Sevilla Shaner, born about 1821, married Christian Rice. Her death record indicates her father was Jacob Shaner, mother unknown. Sevilla was my husband's ggg-grandmother. Please let me know if you have more info on this line.

Susan Walker (Parker)
RE: Fulcher marker
The first one says:
Diane Dixie
May 7, 1930 (last number is hard to read)
May 6, 1987

I can't make out the other two in the picture but the birth year looks like 1956 and the death year looks like 1960 on the middle one.

I am going to photograph another marker in a day or two and I will recheck it.
