Hello Jack, have not heard a peep out of you for some time. You left military data in a floral tribute. I just found it today and added the info to the bio. Will you please remove the floral tribute now, since Find A Grave says it is against the rules. ;)

Thank you and God Bless

Winn

David Clinard
Hiram Vanzandt - Old Sardis
Jack, Hiram Garrett VanZandt, the Civil War veteran was buried at Macon Memorial Park cemetrey in Macon, GA. Not at Old Sardis Cemetery in Jones Co, GA. I've visited both. The Old Sardis cemetery is now pretty much abandoned in the woods. Many unmarked graves. There are a few marked VanZandt graves there. Hiram Garrett Vanzandt was likely a junior because his father was named Hiram VanZandt. Most likely Hiram VanZandt Sr was buried at Old Sardis but it is not marked. His parents as well, Garrett VanZandt and Mary Mosely VanZandt were also buried there but were unmarked graves as well.

Phyllis
FAG# 116020953
Hazel Oleta Kirk. I believe the husband is listed as Joseph F. Kirk, Jr. but the one buried there is Joseph F Kirk Sr 1890-1968. Jr was born in 1917. However, I cannot find a marriage record to confirm the marriage. But Joseph F Kirk sr was married to Mamie Belle Crook in 1912 and she died in 1948 so potentially Hazel could have married Sr instead of Jr. But due to age difference I believe she must have married Jr. Thank you for all you work I know it is not easy. Take care. Phyllis

Ida Caldwell Brewer Ross - Memorial 17679121
Hi Jack,
Is there any chance you may have any info on Ida's husband James W. Ross or may know of someone who does? I'm trying to determine who his parents are. I think his father may be James Laut Ross. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your work you do for Find A Grave. Looking forward to hearing from you.

I do not know if I have left you a message before, but if not, I just wanted to thank you for taking a photo of my cousin Davids grave. He was very young and it was very sudden! This is comforting to see and to know I can visit his grave in the virtual world, since I was unable to attend his internment. So thank you for your hard work and it is APPRECIATED deeply!

Could you please delete the picture of the newspaper article for this memorial? I have a picture of the grave marker - but I can't add it - because the 5 pictures, that you added, is the limited amount. I hope this makes sense. Thank you, Nancy Bedell

Two death dates
Mr. Jack, please look at 19475684 as you have her date of death as 1918 and 1912. Do you still have your source documents so the date may be corrected?
Thanks, Bruce
