RE: Bessie Strader at Oak Lawn
Hi Dave,

I went back to Oak Lawn and couldn't find a marked gravesite for Bessie. There are several unmarked/empty spaces next to John Stanley where she could possibly be buried however her name does not appear in the cemetery records that I checked.

RE: John Stanley Strader at Oak Lawn
Hi Dave,

I'm happy to say this was an easy request to fulfill!! Not only did I find his headstone, it is one row behind and a few stones over his parents, and as you thought it just says Stanley with his birth & death years. I was also able to find his obituary. I have created a memorial for him & posted the photos and the obituary exactly as it appeared in the paper. It's interesting that the obit lists his mother & aunt but there is no mention of his father even though he didn't pass away until 1923.

If there's anything else I can do to help you just let me know.

Best wishes,
Anne

RE: John Stanley Strader at Oak Lawn
Hi Dave,

When I photograph a headstone I usually check to see if any family is buried nearby & photograph those as well. It's possibly I may have missed John Stanley Strader or that he buried elsewhere in the cemetery. I will go to the cemetery this afternoon & see if he has a headstone.

Do you know of an obituary for him? Any idea when he was buried in Oak Lawn?
I will let you if I find anything on him.
Anne

Lennette Horton
Nancy Jane Miller Johnson
According to the Death Index for South Dakota, Nancy Jane Johnson died on 18 Jul 1918 in Leola, McPherson, SD. She is, of course, buried next to her husband, Isaiah Johnson, in the Rockwell Cemetery in Rockwell City, Cerro Gordo, IA.

Yellow Rose of Texas - Judy in California
RE: Charles
Dear Dave:
I looked at Charles memorial and I think you have to contact his daughter's contributor and ask them to add her father, Find A Grave Memorial# 75708653
to her memorial. There is no place for me to add a daughter to a father, only a father to a daughter or son.
Sorry,
Judy

Bill Hazard
Cregers in Saguache Hillside Cemetery
I just found your note posted on the memorial for James C. Creger. Yes, both Jim and Ida [misspelled as Ada] are listed in the cemetery records: They are both buried in Block N. Jim's grave straddles both Lots 57 and 67. Ida is buried in Lot 67. Jim's grave is given map no. 776 and Ida's is no. 778. Unfortunately, there are no stones with inscriptions for any of the Cregers, except son Arthur, his wife Minnie and their daughter Evelyn.

Since your posting, I have found and posted obituaries for Ida and daughter Mabel. I thought you might want to know. Thanks for your input and interest.

Hannah Strader
Hey Dave, I've been working on Hannah's part of the Strader family and I've added a few memorials. I didn't want to post your pictures on the memorials, So if you want to I've added so far Claud Bucher, and Earl. Will add the rest if needed. I'm trying to add the basics for them. If you want I can add more or even transfer to you and you can add bio for them. Up to you. I didn't want to copy your work without you saying it was ok. Thanks Nancee

I missed this when you posted this on charles' memorial. Any details on this deed transfer and about the house would be interesting. Did not know about this story.

Thanks,
