I have been to the area where Richard was born twice and John Jr. apparently died and didn't find any Mendenhall stones there. There is a stone that says some other graves were moved to that site. It is a pretty area and the old stone church was still in service when I was there.

Hey, I found some information on the "Help" page in regards to entering names. The following are the instructions:
Naming conventions:
"First Name" - First name of the deceased. Please put the entire first name (if known), even if the grave marker is only an initial.
"Middle Name" - Middle name of deceased, if known.
"Nickname" - Nickname of deceased, if known; the nick name is automatically placed in quotes.
"Maiden Name" - Maiden name of a married individual, if known (otherwise leave blank); the maiden name is automatically italicized and should only be used if the individual was married and took the spouse's surname as the new surname. If the deceased was never married, then the surname should be placed in the "Last Name" field, NOT in the "Maiden Name" field.
"Last Name" - Last Name as you would find it on the tombstone, if the interred had more than one marriage or other possible spellings please place this information in the bio and use the family links.

I understand your dilemma as to where to put all of those names. Would it work to just put the first name in the first field and just the last name in the surname field and then all of the other names in between in the middle name field? I know it will work because I tried it. To me that would seem less confusing. Anyway, just giving you some more input. Of course, you can do what you think is best. I had a hard time finding this memorial (Oak City Cemetery in Millard County, Utah) because the last name was put in as Dutson Shepheard rather than just Shepheard or just Dutson. You might want to fix that so people can find it.
