Buthfer Transfers
Thank you so much for the transfer of those memorials -- if only others would have the same attitude as you about transfers. On these, I didn't feel strongly either way but if someone ever submits suggestions, I know my co-worker will be eager to know what relative made the submission -- so in that sense it may bring two relatives together. Thanks again.

Buthfer Transfers
Received your public message and transfer to me only if you are willing, although I am not related to the Buthfers. However, I am doing research for a co-worker and as I learn of info I could either add the additional info myself (if you transfer) or continue to use the edit button if no transfer. Either way is fine by me. I am finding more and more "transfer resistant" memorial creators, who won't even transfer to blood relatives--even if slightly outside the 4-generation mandatory find a grave policy--so it's refreshing to find someone ready and willing. That would be very nice if OK with you. If your husband served Eisleben, you must know the history of Rev. Henry Grupe. Thank you so much LonnaBeth

Re: Your quick response
Jan,
Thank you for your quick response, I appreciate it.
Things happen in life, and This time that you are having together, is I am sure a good thing for you both. Most times, sisters have so much to share with each other, and they are sometimes the best people to be there for one another.
I am doing extensive work on the Find A Grave memorials for my Jantz relatives, which Lori has created. I do want to be able to add family history, and I would like to work with her on this. If she is not up to adding this history, as I send it. She can transfer them to me, I will add the information and send the memorial back to her after I do this quite frequently, not necessarily with family related memorials but with other members. There are way too many memorials on Find A Grave that are just sitting around gathering dust, no information, no monument photos, very sad. I am trying my best to make sure that my family lines are not like that. I am trying to link up family members. Since some of my Jantz lines changed their name to Johnson, I am wondering if Lori's husband was in this line.
I had ask her once but she never responded.
Sincerely,
Janet Milburn

regarding inscription of Vida Johnson's memorial
Hello! Jan,
I am doing research on the Jantz/Johnson descendants, and am hoping that you can tell me if I am reading the inscription correctly. It appears to me to say.............
For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ~Romans 1:16......is that how you read it. You can probably just go to the memorial and enlarge the
monument and you are a lot younger than me. I am
getting ready to send some suggestion to this Lori Johnson below as I also have some family history, so I thought I was ask her to type this
above info into the inscripion area, if I can get her to respond, that is. I will send it thru 'edit' and also put a message on her public page. Perhaps that will get her attention, that is
what I had to do sometime back. You wonder sometimes if these people are still alive. She has a message on her memorials that say'bad e-mail'. Keep up the good work, we couldn't make it
without you. Photo volunteers are the best!
Sincerely,
Janet Milburn

Maggie M Brunke and Herman Henry Brunke
Jan,

Hi. I was just wondering if you are related to Maggie M Brunke (68080089) and Herman Henry Brunke (68080037). She is my cousin and he is her husband. They are buried in Eisleben Lutheran Church Cemetery, Illmo, Scott Co., MO. If your not related to them would you mind transferring them to me?

when you took her photo did you happen to notice any apparent husband/husbands with her? I know she married Archie B. Schmidt in 1973, he died in 1983 in McPherson County but I don't see a findagrave record for him. If you did note him with her please let me know so I can create a memorial for him. Also, she was born 1918 so can't help but wonder if she married someone before Archie and she might be buried by a first husband. Same might go for Archie0 might have had a first wife and be buried with her. Would appreciate any info you can share.

Hi, Jan, The pictures have not shown up yet on the Eisleben Lutheran Memorial Cemetery (Old Cemetery). Have you heard from FindaGrave? I know sometimes it takes a while for them to approve new photos. Thanks for your interest- I look forward to seeing the pictures you are adding.

RE: Francis Whelan
No, I'm not related to any of the folks on the Pioneers tree. I have a great admiration of and fascination for the settlers of this area who lived with such extremes of climate, flora, and fauna! Many of the descendents of the original stock live here still and are so very intersting to talk with about their families. This tree is a way to remember and honor the hardy stock that, I believe, represent the true American spirit of industry and tenacity.
Thank you for the addition to Francis' entry, Jan!
