Daniel Beebe
I do not want a transfer, just to make a correction. Daniel Beebe who died 23 March 1898 is the son of Daniel Beebe Sr. and his wife Sarah (maiden name not known). Daniel Sr. and Sarah ? are my 3rd great grandparents. I don't currently know the relationship between Wm Beebe and Daniel Sr. Thank you for making this correction.

You created memorial #79841755 for Hazel McCabe when she already has a memorial, please see #67107254.
McCabe was her second husband - she was first married to Hollis Armstrong. She was my grandmother.
As this is a duplicate, please remove your memorial, thank you

RE: Ludwig Family
Nice to meet you Nancy. I too am related to the Ludwig family. Lillian Mergner and Gustav Alfred Ludwig, buried in Hollywood Cemetery, are my grandparents. Amelia Ludwig Endlich was Gustav's sister. I've located Gustav and Amelia's parents Johann Jacob and Anna Maria Engelhorn Ludwig, buried in Fairmount Cemetery, but haven't been able to take the Ludwig family back to Germany. Please feel free to contact me directly at cswitkay (at) allianceofceos (dot) com

Missing Child of...
Hi Nancy,

Thank you for all the work you do. I've been doing research on my ancestry, and it appears that Florence Whitman Perkins is missing a child under her family links. She had a third child, Charles Perkins (1920-2007). I am new to the website but would you be able to add him?
Thank you!

Very Respectfully,
Ashley

Nancy,

I've asked the person who added 6 photos to your memorial to delete one so that I can add a better photo. I he/she doesn't do it, then I'll sponsor the memorial and upload my photo.

Mary Wheelock in Shaftsbury, VT
OO, I went back there and saw that there is a little verse at the bottom. Those are always nice to have on the Find-a-Grave page!
Up to you, of course!

Mary Wheelock in Shaftsbury, VT
Hi,
I'm looking for a Mary Wheelock that is on my father's paper family tree. I don't think that this is the one, but I notice there are 2 Mary Wheelocks in the Shaftsbury VT cemetery. The one done by you is later than the first one. The person that entered the first one has had their messages disabled. The photo is of the same gravestone. Do you delete one when that happens? I was going to suggest that the whole inscription be put on the F/Grave page for her. Maybe if you are up there, you might want to do that? And delete the other one, since it is the same stone, and so why should there be two!! I think maybe the first one had a different date, b/c maybe it was hard to read? So, I won't be back b/c I'm sure that this is not my relative but it might help someone to see the whole inscription. I didn't try to enlarge your photo, but the other one couldn't be enlarged much and didn't let you read the inscription.
Just trying to make the world a better place! ~ Descendant of Eleazar Wheelock, founder of Dartmouth, and John, his son. Love the name "Wheelock!" My sister got it as a middle name and she legally dropped it as an adult!! go figure! Well, it's tough having a middle name like that when all your friends have "Mary" or "Anne!"
I'm a chatterbox, thank you for your good work!

Elmer Arthur Chester Hall
Hello Nancy D

My name is Vern Lovett, I am new to Find a Grave, but a long time member of Ancestry.com

I am helping a friend of mine find his family. I see that you posted a grave site of his parents. He has had NO contact with his family for many many years, do you have any information or contacts for him. His name is Peter Hall and he lives in San Diego CA. Please advise, I was just casually helping but I got excited when I found so much information on them. Any help would be great.

Thank you,

Vern Lovett

Charles Eastman
Nancy, I think there's a problem with your edit for Charles Eastman.

You've sent me Charles Eastman (b. 1777) as the son of himself Charles B. Eastman (b. 1777) and Laura Shepard Eastman (1840-1901).

I think you've got the wrong "father" here, as Laura Shepard was married to Benjamin Eastman.

I'm going to decline your edit so that you don't need to go looking for it. All you have to do is re-send it to me.

Thanks,

Janet

Info about # 12340667
Hi Nancy,
It has been a while since you added
Jonathan Baker # 12340667 and wife Lucretia # 12340670 (West Arlington Cemetery).

I know it is a long shot, but I was wondering if you know of a source where I can get more information on these two? I've extensively mined the internet, but have run into a dead end. Particularly, I'm trying to establish a link between Remember Baker and Jonathan.

RE: Thomas Salmon
Hi Nancy:
I'm excited to visit the Salmon lot in Dorset in the Spring. Do you know how he came to be buried there and not nearer his home in NY? There must be a family connection through marriage, or perhaps a vacation home but I haven't found it.
My interest in Salmon is that I have a letter from him to my grandfather, Clarence Joseph D'Alton, MD, a neuro- psychiatrist in the army, notifying him the the medical supplies he requested sent to the hospital in France where he was stationed during WWI were on the way. I've read a lot of biographical material about Salmon, in an aid to understanding the work my grandfather did: advocating for the care and rehabilitation of veterans with PTSD (then referred to as "shell shock" or "war neuroses"). My grandfather gave an address to the NY state government urging the use of hospitals specifically for veterans, which would be more helpful to their recovery than using general mental hospitals. Salmon was involved, with the American Legion and other veteran support groups, in starting the VA hospitals. I know very little about my grandfather, but I'm impressed with his work. I have inherited his papers, and I'm trying to use the information I find there to document his life somehow. So far I'm using Excel and scanning interesting documents & photos. I want to be able to share this information with my family, if not the world. If you have any ideas about how to put this together, I'd love your advice. Thank you very much,
Annie

I copied this information from the headstone as it is near a relative of mine. You can contact the cemetery directly and they can confirm it for you.

I did not have my camera with me when I passed through Kingsburg when I got this information, but next time I go through the area I will have to stop and take pictures.
