I want to thank you so much for all the information you provided for him and his family. I did not have any of this. I have had a hard time finding information on my mother's family all together.

|DJ Noble||Norris Morrison -Memorial# 20801859|
Thank you for adding this memorial!
Norris Morrison is my 4th great-grandfather. I have traced my family line back as far as Norris, but
I have not been able to find any birth records for him. So I cannot, at this point, go back any further.
I have found 1850-1870 census records for him living in Meridian Twp, Ingham County, Michigan.
I have used the birth date that you have listed here for him in my family tree. So thank you again!
I am wondering if there are any records associated with Norris Morrison that indicates who his parents were.

Thank you for posting the photograph of Henry Gates' gravestone. I really appreciate you taking the time to go get it for me.

Thanks for letting me know that he does not have a marker. I guess being the last of the line there is no one there to arrange for a marker. Are you related to the Markham line?
I see you have done a lot of research is why I ask. I am related and my main research is the Markham lines.
Best Wishes, Heather

Every time I look up someone in Jackson, if they are there, it is usually because you posted it! The county owes you a big thanks, so here is a little one from me. :)

Deb, I clicked send to let Linda know I asked for the transfers and two e-mails popped up in my box saying you'd already done it. WOW! Thank you so very much for that. |Elaine A||Saints Cornelius and Cyprian Parish Cemetery|
Deb, although it is not in Jackson County, I can see you have worked in this cemetery as well. There are currently 510 burials listed. Do you think this is pretty much completed? I live in the Upper Peninsula but will schedule a trip there this summer. I could not be sure from the photos but I thought it might be bigger than that.
Although I have several relatives listed there, I suspect that I may have more. I am specifically looking for James Cavender 1830-1897 and wife, Ellen Cavender 1832-1906. At least four of their 13 children are there including the daughter, Elizabeth, that Ellen lived with after James died.
Always searching for more!
I hope the new year brings good tidings to you and yours.
Thanks for all you do for Find A Grave

Thanks Deb for updating me on Ambrose's unmarked headstone. I didn't see it on his memorial. I appreciate you getting in touch with me.

|J. Marklein||Ira D. Knapp page|
I know of at least two other pages on Findagrave that should be linked to Ira, but they're administered by two separate people. One is Imay Knapp Perkins, who was a daughter of Ira and his (first?) wife, Ada Raymond Knapp. Also, a listing for Iola E. Wilkes, whose full name is Iola Erma Knapp Thuston Wilkes. She was a daughter of Ira and Ada as well. They also had seven other children, one of whom was a twin to Melvin. Feel free to contact me if you'd like.

|Regine Brindle||Peter Lowe|
Thank You for taking the picture of Peter Lowe's grave and all the others! It really helps! Peter Lowe is my husband's ancestor. It took a long time before we found where he died. It is sweet to be able to link his stone to our tree.

|Diane Sheppard||Welthia Shepard French|
Do you know any descendants of the Joseph and Mary Ann (Thayer) Shepard family? This family appears to be part of the Lothamer/Lumbard family tree on Ancestry (don't have subscription so can't contact). There is a picture of the three Shepard women attached.
Welthia's grand-father can be found here:
# 114094979, Joseph Shepard, West Jamaica, VT
Her sister, Ella, married Henry French, found here:
# 23512094, Ella E. French, Onondaga, MI
Another sister, Myrtle Pierce, found here:

|Kathryn Hammett Gordon||father of Harriett Chalcroft|
Deb, We really appreciate all the work you have put into linking the Ramsey family. Harriett Ramsey Chalcroft 43006595 is the daughter of John Ramsey 28968884 and not of John 28885112.
Easy mistake to make but can you correct it please? Thanks and thanks for all the work you have done.
