Charlene, I wanted to let you know that some one wanted a grave photo of the Henrys in Hurricane Cemetery in Johnson County Indiana, and I got them today. However, you have put so many photos of them on their page that the grave photos wont show. Is it really necessary to have that many of the same photo? If you would remove a couple of them, then the requester could see the gravestone. This is Find A Grave, after all! Thank You, I am sure they will appreciate it.

Thanks for sending things about Bruce. Your info brings forth some questions about Bruce and his family.

I am familiar with Charles and Amelia (Hall/Haack/Hawk) Hanneman, They had 12 known children. The 1910 census shows an 8 year old Spence Hanneman. Spencer C. Hanneman grew up and married a Gladys Maria Warden.

1910 Census MI, Lapeer Co

Herman Hanneman, son, m, w, 12, s, MI, Ger, Ger;

Could you share the source of your info on his parentage?

You will not be able to delete Rebecca's entry that was transferred to you. Find a grave has been notified of the 2 entries & they will merge them. Until that time, we will not add the mother link until we find out which entry they keep but will probably be the original one.

RE: Maloneys

Thanks for your info. My great-great grandmother Margaret Maloney Phelan was born 12/26/1842 and died in Brookville 1/27/1923. Parents listed on her death certificate were John & Margaret Maloney. No hints there.

I'm not sure why she came over other than the opportunities in Ireland were nil then. She was born during the potato famine so my guess is it was tough growing up. As with most Irish families, many of the 9 kids died early and those who married didn't reproduce to any great degree. I'm amazed the name Phelan managed to flurish. There are just 2 branches left - our side and my cousin's side. The name is still viable on my cousin's side and seems to be doing well on our side.

I wish I knew more about the Phelans and the Maloneys.

I am curious about the Maloneys. My great-great grandmother was a Maloney. I know virtually nothing about her time in Ireland.

Margaret Maloney married Patrick Phelan in Cincy in 1868. The 1900 census says they came over to the U.S. in 1865. I have never been able to determine from where they came in Ireland. Patrick & Margaret had 9 children whom I have found...mostly buried in Brookville or in Dayton, OH.

Margaret's death certificate lists her parents as John & Margaret Maloney. Not exactly an unusual name. There is a fairly large group of Maloneys buried in Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. I doubt that there is a connection to your Maloneys, but I can't resist the temptation to ask.

Your memorial lists him at Floral Park Cemetery. The one I entered is in Westridge Cemetery, I took photos of many of the markers in Westridge and entered them so I have no personal knowledge.
So the photo I have is not from Floral Park. Do you want me to remove the memorial?
