William Martin
I have traced James Martin, his son, to Spokana, WA
According to US Census his birth date was abt 1829.
He married Elizabeth Jane Stapleton 29 Oct 1857 in Davies Co., MO. She passed away 1872. A year later he married Eliz Pyle,08 Jun 1873 in Worth Co., Mo. He passed away 08 Jun 1912 in Spokana, Wa. I haven't found where he was buried. My 2nd Great Grandfather was his brother, Madison Martin.

Parley Todd
South Park Cemetery - Roswell, NM

Sorry to say there is no headstone for this person.

Parley is interred in Public Burial (for families who could not pay or for those who had no family).

There is no exact burial plot for people interred in Public Burial, especially the time frame for Parley.

Thanks. Had no idea who BillionGraves was but they sent me a picture and location. Even the managers couldn't find it.

Thanks Ideal
Your message helps me a lot. There were other errors on the Memorial and I just wrote the fella that put up my Granny's Memorial and I'll see if he responds. If not I'll do a new Memorial like you suggested. Thanks a heap! Rose

Wrong Cemetery
Hello Ideal, It isn't your fault since the grave site said my Grandmother, Laura Mae Barham/Clanton, is buried in Perris Ca., but the person who made the memorial said that's where she is, and she did die in Perris, Ca. but is buried in Montecito Memorial Park in Loma Linda, Ca. I was hoping you could remove the pic's of the Perris Cemetery and I will put the right ones in. I know you work hard and everyone surely appreciates your work, I know I do. Memorial number is: 21715086 for Laura Mae Barham Clanton. Thanks so much. Rose A. Jensen

I've uploaded those photos. There may be other Bernsteins there, so I'll keep an eye out if I go back at some point.
Best,

Yes, actually. I also snapped the graves of these Bernsteins there:

Sylvia d. 1942 Age 56
Samuel d. 1954 Age 70
Joel William b. 6 Oct 1941 d. Feb 1947

If any happen to be ones you want, please request photos from their memorials and I'll get them uploaded. May not be able to do it for a few days but I'll get to it!
Best,
ENZita

Digger
RE: Joshua Bernstein
Sorry for the speedbump in your search. I'm happy to try elsewhere if you get another lead. Apologies if I'm telling you something you already know, but you might phone or write to the Jewish Cemetery Association of Massachusetts (JCAM). They manage (and have a database for) a large number of Jewish cemeteries in the Boston area, particularly the smaller cemeteries created long ago by now-defunct congregations, or by craft guilds, or by landsmanschaften, or whatever, including the one you thought your g-g-grandfather was in. They can probably tell you if they have him anywhere in their system. [JCAM, 189 Wells Ave, Newton, MA 02459, phone (617)244-6509, website www.jcam.org ] The larger congregational and for-profit cemeteries are, sadly, not part of a unified database...

Regards,
Robert (Digger)
