|LADONNA GREER COLLETT||Wiiam Harvison|
Hi, I have made the transfer. I'm doing this to try and save the info on as many stones as I can, not to build up numbers. I also try to connect family any chance I get. It doesn't matter to me how close or how far apart the family tie may be. So if you find any other family members of yours that I've listed, just let me know and will gladly transfer them also.

No problem. It's done. (Sorry I didn't think to suggest it myself!)

I am not related to Ms. Carpenter. It was my honor to create her memorial and I gladly put her in her family's keep.

|jasmine carter||RE: Webb/ Norvell marker in Asbury Cemetery|
The Norvell/Burks monuments are 3 separate head stones that all looked the same, not one stone with different sides. They were bautiful! But nothing was written on the other sides, just the fronts.

|DAdra Leonard||Bessie Patterson Crew|
Bessie's great grandmother on the Davis side of my family is my grandfather (George Washington Davis) sister her name was Rachel Ann Davis and she married Patterson. Her first marriage was to a Wm. A Johnson. They had a son Leff Johnson. My records indicate your mother had a sister Mary, Rebecca Patterson Mills, brother Billy who married Lora or Laura Adams in Sweetwater, TX. I have just began to look into the past relatives. As is everybody I am getting older by the day and would like to be able to leave my grandchildren their legacy. I would be interested in discussing
our relatives at your convenience. You will have my e-mail address with this message but I have another one also and it is email@example.com Thank you for your time and input on your family.

Thank you for reminding me that I have not gotten the work done on my grandfather. Have been doing other family members. I will link him to his father today. My grandfather was always called "Bill" or Big Bill and my father was named Billy Joe. I will also post his photo soon. I am working on a book for my children about our families and have not put info on memorial pages yet. Can you tell me what interest you have in my grandfather? Are you related to the Hamptons?

I completed your photo request for Roman, Lillie and Alvin Haecker. The family is in two lots, 701 and 714, which are adjacent. I linked them all together in Captions on the photos I uploaded.

Feel free to use the picture. If you email me directly I can send you a GoogleEarth view of the gravesite. I discoverd my camera could do GPS tracking awhile back and found it was really neat to see the individual stone from a few hundred feet up.

|Rob M||Porters - Cave Hill, P-39|
Per your request for a group of Porters in Sec P, Lot 39 at Cave Hill in Louisville, KY:
There are markers for William (d1874) & Matilda (died 1892), Edward (d1902) & Emma (d1940) and their children William Edward & Emma Young (no dates), Clara (d1937, Alice Clifford Porter (d1940), a small unmarked or unreadable baby stone which i have included as Ella, and Thomas & wife Lucie (have forgotten the dates). There is also one for a Porter who died in 1882, but the first name was unreadable in person and on the computer (so far). It does not appear to say "Emma", however. There are no other markers.
Let me know if you want these additional photos added.

Would that cousin be Barbara Rogers by any chance? We have worked together for many years now on family history.
I have been to Joseph Rogers old mill site in Madison county, Arkansas on the stream off the Kings River. I suspect that Rachel is buried at the old campground Cemetery there. Lawsons grave is there and there are unmarked graves around him. I would still love to go explore Rogers bluff there if time should permit. My grandmother Luella Rogers married Joseph Ferrell and his father was raised south of White county at Hurricane Creek of the Caneyfork river north of Smithville in Dekalb co. Tenn.
After Joseph Rogers finished his service in the war of 1812, He obtained a bounty land in Madison county Arkansas. I found information that suggested that he first visited the area on a trip around 1839 and then moved to the area around 1841 to 1842. By the time he moved there with at least two of his sons, he was getting up in years and decided to stay with his sons closer to the Kings River rather than settle his bounty land claim and he let it go. His other sons except for Isaac moved to Johnson County Arkansas which is my line. The Rogers boys in Johnson county operated a saw mill probably near Colony Mountain for some years as well as operating their farms close by.

Joseph Rogers had another son that lived in White county TN named Hiram and he married a woman named Campbell by her maiden name so this is another reason Isaac Rogers born 1801 might be Joseph Rogers son.

One cousin and I are of the belief that Isaac Rogers may be a son of our ancestor Joseph Rogers born 1773 and moved to White co. Tenn from Franklin county, Ga. My g grandfather was Isaac Milton Rogers who was son of William W Rogers born in White county and he was son of John M Rogers of white county and he was son of Joseph Rogers.

I suggested it be removed. We shall see. I agree they rarely delete memorials even if they go against their own policy.
