 | About Darlen Wright gravesite... Hello, I am the niece of Darlene. There was alot of debate in the family that her gravsite had been sold to someone else, as no one could find it in the cemetary. I was very glad to see it on this site. It is as I remember from a little girl. How did you come to put it in? I am curious, did you know of her or Rheba? The circumstances of there deaths? Are you related?
Just would love to know anything.
I appreciate your effort in putting it up.
Thank you! Sincerely, Jaime CrosslandAdded by Jaime on Jul 21, 2012 2:07 PM | |

 | Related to Mary Bliss Parsons Hello,
Thanks for finding and posting the information on Mary Bliss Parsons. Very Iinteresting! I just started working on my family genealogy and have found Find a Grave to be a valuable resource. I am a 10th generation direct descendant of hers and many other people in the MA, CT, and VT states. Would love to compare family trees if you are interested. Did you know there is a book scanned into Google Books called Parsons family: descendants of Cornet Joseph Parsons, 1636 Northampton, 1655, Volume 1. (http://books.google.com/books/about/Parsons_family.html?id=8dZGAAAAMAAJ)

 | Nabbie Young Clawson McMasters That's ok, I was just surprised, as we're supposed to ask or be asked, before transferring memorials to anyone. No harm done. I didn't add to the site to maintain any of my own family, just to help others to find their ancestors. Thanks for all the work you do and may God bless.Added by Walking Dead on May 22, 2011 10:45 PM | |

 | Nabbie Young Clawson McMasters Did you mean to transfer this memorial to me ? This is a cousin of mine, but I didn't ask for a transfer. I'm transferring all of my memorials over to a friend, as I don't have time to maintain them anymore. If it was a mistake, let me know the ID # to transfer to and I'll do it for you.Added by Walking Dead on May 22, 2011 7:51 PM | |

 | Tom Cannon Hello - I am looking for my father who was buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery Oct 23rd, 1958. He was born September 29, 1890 in County Mayo, Ireland and died Oct 20th 1958 at Fairmont Hospital. He lived on farm in Newark. I got this information from his death certificate. We want to find his grave site. He must be in one of the unknown. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Michael
 | Samuel George Read Hello.
I saw your posting for your grandfather. My great-great grandparents, John and Eliza Oldham, along with their two very young children, also sailed on the Horizon and were survivors of the Martin Handcart Company disaster. Eventually they settled in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Eliza died in 1915, when my mother was 10 years old. My mother could remember her grandmother saying that their shoes wore out and they had to wrap rags around their feet. As they walked along in the snow, she could turn around and see their bloody footprints. She was especially saddened that, to lighten the load, they had to throw out John Oldham's suits.
All these many years later, and both families are still remembered by us, even though we didn't actually know them. That's a nice thought.
Regards from San Diego. Michael
