Emilie Dumont in the Saint Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford, MA

I confirmed that Emilie is buried in the "Free Ground" section of the Saint Joseph Cemetery. Free Ground is an area where individuals are buried without grave markers. Typically, it is because they died and did not make previous arrangements for a plot and family members did not or could not pay for it either. Since it's a Church cemetery, they would still accommodate their non-paying parishioners. I have a couple of nice photos of the Free ground section so please let me know if you'd like me to post them. If not, please remove your Photo Request so the cemetery does not get repeated requests for the burial location from other Photo Volunteers.

Thank You!

George stone kinner
Good morning,George is buried in new waterloo cemetery,in warner n.h.There is no new warner cemetery. In 1975 only flat stones were allowed in that cemetery,so it will be march, before a photo is possible.I will be more than happy to go and take the photo then, but might need a reminder.Be well,Gary.

The Acadien
re- Jeanne Ciarlo
Posted a photo of the monument where she's buried. Her husband Anthony Jr. has a footstone; she has no marker or engraving of her own (as of 9/16/2013).

Note: On the Anthony Ciarlo, Jr. memorial (here at findagrave), I believe the photo of the monument is incorrect. That's another Ciarlo family monument.

RE: Dumont

Joe and Marie photo requests fulfilled. I happened to be there again yesterday, and asked them to pinpoint the graves on a map.
Not difficult to find, but the marker was nearly covered over (as I expected) — so I weedwacked around it.
Could use a good wash-&-rinse if you're ever in the neighborhood. [For my family's markers, I use dishsoap and a dollar-store scrub-brush. Takes less than five minutes.]

> Info re- Jeanne Ciarlo
Section 29, Lot #16, Grave #8
There are 3 or 4 Ciarlo family plots all near each other, there; massive monuments, but I couldn't find any inscription (or separate footstone) for Jeanne. Wasn't sure which family she was attached to, but will check again if I get the chance.

Saw your message. Will get back to you after holidays. My father recently passed away. Will ask my Mother if he had pics of Ethel and Bill in his albums

RE: Perrault Grave Stone
Ethel (Barrett) Perrault was my grandmother (Eva Barrett Baker)s sister. I knew where the headstone was as soon as I read the name. Glad to help out.

Harriet Bogardus
I found and photographed a stone in Great Plain Cemetery that may possibly be the one for Harriet Bogardus. I think I can make out the last name, but it is otherwise pretty much unreadable. Please let me know if you'd like me to post it despite the uncertainty; or I can send it to you directly for you to decide whether to put it up.

RE: Houtz

Forgot to mention. Based on the gravestone, I believe the birth month for John Houtz is January, not June. Notice that he is 75y. 9m. 9d. January to October is 9 months.

RE: Houtz
Hi Pat,
You're very welcome. I noticed some other Houtz graves at the cemetery and took pictures of the stones just in case they were needed on findagrave. Turns out photos were needed. Didn't see all the Houtz stones, but these addtions definitely lower the number without photos. They are, I believe, family of John Houtz, for they are all close together. Hope they are of interest to you.

RE: Brennans
Hello Pat, I happened chance passed by Mill River Cemetery, New Marlborough, MA 01244. I found one Brennan monument in Section C (or G?). I see your request and will try to help. In the meanwhile know that the cemetery is very old and many monuments have deteriorated beyond readability. Here's some help for a start: I took some photos of Brennan monument and will post on From the project list I see there are more Brennans than the monument I found. I use findagrave not this cemtery project, but I might start in my local area. I will try and get up there again (before winter) but its not close. If you could contact the cemetery caretaker thru your local funeral home (ask for the section numbers for the monuments). Also if you could provide any further names/dates that would help. There is a lot of good local history available from Mill River Village. Bye for now, Bernard

RE: Brennans
Hello Pat, I received your email request about Brennan's at Mill River Cemetery, MA. I don't live too close either, I'm in southern Connecticut, but I do get up there once or twice during summer. I'll make a note of Brennan's, the cemetery is very small and old. I would be happy to help you if I can. Bernard
