Are you sure Ira Griffin Moorhead was in the 22nd Georgia Infantry? He was a first cousin to one of my great-great grandfathers and I'm trying to find out more about his Confederate service. Thanks!

Good job with all your dedicated work on Find-A-Grave, dt07.
For John Samuel Hawkins, I see a citation for his CSA service - Co. K, 3rg Rgmt., GA volunteer Infantry. I have been unable to verify this service. Can you provide the citation for this service?

Thank you very much for posting a biopage of this fallen C.S.A. patriot.
You've correctly noted that the marker with his name, etc. is a cenotaph.
However, he is no longer buried "on" the battlefield. He was reinterred in 1866 in the Spotsylvania Court House Confederate Cemetery.
Please see below:
Would you be so very kind as to add this link to the bio info you've posted?

Thank you for all you do to help families with these sites.
We would like to take over the management of my great, great uncle Rufus Epenetus Guthrie as we are putting together a family online book and page.
We have family stories and pictures. I am family historian for several lines.

The link you requested has been made. I'm not sure how I acquired maintenance for this person. Would you like it transferred back to you? It is not a problem either way. I'm impressed with all you have done! Thanks for your time!

|Marilyn Barksdale||Jerry Dallas Tillman|
Jerry Dallas Tillman was my uncle (my mother's second oldest brother). Their father was John Absolom Tillman and their mother was Florence America Baker, not Harriet Baker. There were four John Absolom Tillmans whose suffixes were not correct on these grave markers. My grandfather, John Absolum Tillman's parents were John Absolom and Harriet Baker. My grandfather's first wife was Georgia, who died giving birth to their only child, Effie Tillman (Goings), my mother's and Jerry Dallas's older half-sister. If you would like to contact me, I can provide further information. MB4TRAVEL@aol.com.

dt07, you have put my name on some I have no clue who they are, this will cause a problem, I was only talking about the family of William & Mollie as their children are all I have info on. You have so many of the extended family that I should not be listed it should be only you for most of them, esp. since it was you who did the work. So if possible to take my name off the ones I have no clue who they are. I had no clue that you would turn ALL them over to me, I had said I was only directly related to William & Mollie the first family and not the 2nd family. They are my relations and I do have contact with alot of them, but I don't have all the important info regarding them. Had I known this would happen I would never said a thing, I just wanted to have you or let me add only for those I have direct connection.
