RE: Poyas Memorials Transferred
Just a small way to say thanks so much for everything you've done and for the service provided by Find a Grave. I haven't counted all the memorials but will run a tally and confirm. Have a great weekend.

RE: Thanks For The Tombstone Photo!!
You are very welcome. Yes, you may use the photo on Thank you for asking; I am finding that most people don't even ask they just take the photo which makes me angry.

Mount Olive vs Mount Olivet
I found a couple of memorials that you added for Mount Olive Cemetery in Gordo, AL. One of them, Margaret Slaughter is actually at Mount Olivet also in Gordo. Is there a Mount Olive Cemetery? If so, is there a stone there for Margaret Slaughter died in 1884? The stone in Mount Olivet is actually for Margaret and Robert together.

William Sadler
Hi there, just wanted to give you a brief explanation of the photo I took for William Sadler. The location you gave for the grave was perfectly accurate but there was no marker in place. I double-checked with the cemetery staff and they assured me that the grave was immediately to the right of that of Ralph Sadler, who is buried in lot #1.

Edward James Downs

I just wanted to let you know that I finally made the changes (that you requested over a year ago) to the Edward James Downs memorial in Ashland Cemetery.

My apologies for the long delay!

RE: Thanks for Tombstone Photos from St. Michael's Cemetery
You are quite welcome. Like you said, it is a domino effect and things like find-a-grave really help find family members we didn't know about and give that extra 'hint' to furthering our family trees!

I know, I have had volunteers help me and am eternally grateful! That is why I do it!

I guess, this is a 'shout out' to all those who do!

Griffiths & Williams
I see that the "Wiliams" are related to the Griffiths @ St Michael's Cemetery. Request photos (& check for any other related) and the next nice day, I'll take the photos.

Yesterday was fairly nice, but it's cold & raining out and is supposed to be this way for a while!

St Michaels' in Orrville, OH
I just signed up to fulfill your request. I've been to this cemetery before & there is no list to check. You have to wander around to find what you want. With it being so cold out... it's a bit rough. Even with the sun out... it can be deceiving! Hang in there & I will take care of it as soon as we have a little bit warmer weather.

I will be happy to take a photo of the grave if you can provide the plot number. I understand Memorial Park will only provide this information to a relative.. Shaunie

Enos Holmes family
There is a two page story on the family of Enos Holmes [Sr.] in a book titled "The Story of Portage Prairie", written by Alma V. Hartline, on pages 438 and 439, and also a paragraph on the Holmes School, on page 437. Alma Hartline knew the family personally, and attended a party at the home of Enos Jr. (Portage Prairie is not a town, just the area in Bertrand Township, South of Buchanan, Berrien County Michigan. Also, I have a copy of the 1860 plat map of Buchanan and Berrien Counties Michigan, which shows the Enos Holmes farm (in the N.-W. quarter of Section 4), on the South side of Chamberland Road, near the Bakertown Cemetery. (Chamberland Road devides Buchanan Township and Bertrand Township). Just thought you might be interested. Nancy
