RE: stinson
Sorry, I am not sure what it is you are asking about the photos. Hope they have been OK. I like to be able to read the inscriptions on the tombstone pictures that I add to Find-A-Grave. Find A Grave is a good tool to use doing genealogy.

Thank you.

RE: John Cronau
Thanks for the Cronau information. Thanks also for all the edits you have processed for me. I am updating on my mother's side of the family buried in Kewanee.

Thank you.

Bill Olson
Clarence W Olson
Thank you so much for adding my father's memorial. (Clarence W Olson American Mausoleum, Peoria, IL.) If you had not, I am not sure I would ever have found him. We lost contact in 1955 and I had no record of his death. I have added a 1937 photo of him to the memorial. Was the information you added from his obit? If so, can you tell me what newspaper and date of the obit. I would like to see if I can get a copy.
You can contact me via email

Hoffman vs Incorrect "Huffman"
It is disappointing that you choose to perptuate errata of a news typo, instead of correcting the spelling, despite supporting evidence, but I suppose that is your intention.

RE: Can't read your mind
Btw, no, you can't read my mind, but I assume you can read your own memorials. Glad you find that info useful!

RE: Can't read your mind
I have no problem with providing sources. Most people don't want it, or make note of it, though it would be great, if they did. I have not observed that you ever post source info, but if you feel it makes things "even," since I request it, I will be glad to send it, anyway.

RE: Cadegiani
Yet again, you have parents names noted on his memorial.

RE: Burge
Again, you have his parents named on the memorial you entered. His mother's maiden name can be verified on her memorial and the gravestone of her parents. She is linked to them.

RE: Carboni
You have his parents listed on his memorial. You don't trust your own documentation????

Roger Teters
B. Conkling
I had added in his Bio. that he died in The Hospital. I like to post the place of death where he lived when he died. If he died at a railroad crossing or climbing a mountain I would put it in his Bio.
Your right & I think I am right.
I hope it did not offend you.

Thanks for telling me I had made a duplicate of his information. The other poster had added her info the day before mine, so I took mine down. I guess we were both wanting this man to be remembered...

Photo Issue
Please disregard earlier requests regarding rotation of photos. Apparently, there is some weird glitch that causes some photos to appear to be rotated 45 degrees, when viewing memorials on a smart phone. They look fine when viewed on a computer.

Thank you for the information on Terry Hedburg's parents. The information has been added.

RE: RobertBurke
Sorry, but I don't typically post undocumented info. An obit is a type of source, but without the name of the publication, it is useless to anyone who would wish to reference and verify the information for genealogical purposes, or other. Trust is irrelevant.

Added by HJ on Apr 01, 2014 4:03 PM

Obit is fine, but what newspaper? Thank you

Memorial# 127057053
Would you please relate your source of the info you sent for RobertBurke's memorial, entered to the Granville Cem (birth and death locations). It is my personal policy to make note on the memorial of where info is found, as often as possible. Your other edit suggestions have been completed. Thank you

Lois Smith
Hi: I photographed Lois Smith grave today. Stone very hard to read. Took one photo of full stone then chalked the words, still hard to read, but it appears she died in 1978 at age 30 years 4 months. Will post both.
