|Lon +||RE: Vera-Ellen|
I assume you're referring to the note I left on her Angel Day, 8.30.1981. To me, Vera-Ellen was the greatest female dancer of the Golden Age of movies. I own most of her musicals on DVD and belong to the Vera-Ellen on-line Yahoo group. She was simply the best! Cheers~~ Lon +

|Frღm My Heart ♥♡♥||"Thank You"|
I hope that you are having a very wonderful day!
Thank you for the kind words that you left for me today. I appreciate them very much.
There are so many nice people here on Find A Grave.
By the way, I noticed on your profile that you like old B & W movies; so do I. I will always opt for the oldies-but-goodies rather than any of the newer ones.
"The Shop Around The Corner" is one of my very favorites! I have seen it so many times! It is a great movie!
Well, thank you again.
Take good care and be well.

|RomeJohn||RE: Tom Dooley|
Sorry if this is late in replying. I have written a book, soon to be published, about the Tom Dooley-Laura Foster Murder Case. I have spent several years researching the facts of the case and I think I have solved most of the remaining mysteries. Angeline Pauline Triplett (Foster) Melton was my great-great grandmother. If you have additional questions, write to me at this address and I will try to answer your questions - or, you could just buy the book.

I am an avid Peggy Ann Garner fan. I am proud to own all of her movies including her very first one made when sh was 6 years old. She had a very sad personal life and now she is with the angels since October 16,1984.

Thank you for your note about Bob Taylor. Interestingly enough his daughter Tessa still feels his presence about her very strongly. My son has expressed similar experiences to me as well and having known Bob for the last seven years of his life it doesn't surprise me at all. He was bigger than life and yet very unassuming in his private life. I still miss him.

|daniel hennessy||Theodore Goldin|
Glad to see someone does their homework. Goldin was known as a notorious liar by many Custer battle writers,he changed his story(ies),numerous times and as a federal politician engineered his own medal. I'm sure this is the only case of a solder PUTTING HIMSELF in for the MOH
