RE: Cambridge Springs
Hi Kathy,

Yes, I've been working and learning. Thanks for transferring Aunt Grace to me. She was one of my nicest aunts. We still have one plot left, but I doubt if it will be used. My Dad had bought 5 plots in 1953 when my baby brother died.

Thanks Again,

Al

Thank you Kathy. If you have the chance, Columbia does have a headstone and I would welcome a photo.

Columbia Cowden
Kathy,

I just took over management of most of the Cowdens in South Harborcreek Methodist Church Cemetery. You have used the photo of Columbus Cowden's headstone on both his and his twin sister Columbia (previously mislabeled as Columbus A.). Could you please removed this picture from her stone?

Thank you,
Laura Gifford

RE: Headstone photo for Margaret Thelma Mackey Bradley
Hi Kathy,

I'm not sure if I ever answered your message.
Yes, her parents are Abe and Jessie.
Jessie's parents were John Hicks and Lovina N Williams. Her birth record can be found in the Ohio Birth Records name of Jessie Lovena Hicks born in Scioto County, Ohio 19 Jun 1882.

Sorry, if I hadn't answered before this. I've had alot of health issues the past year and haven't done much with my genealogy.
Let me know if you are related to Jessie, it would be great to add a new cousin.
Jessie and Abe were my Great-Grandparents. Margaret their only daughter was my beloved Grandmother.

Sincerely,
Paula Bradley

RE: Headstone photo for Margaret Thelma Mackey Bradley

Hi Kathy,

Jessie was born in Portsmouth, Ohio and according to her Ohio birth record on Ancestry.com her parents were John Hicks and Lovena Williams. This fits with what my Aunt Betty Lovena Bradley told me.

I'm blocked on the Hicks family after John. All I have is what my Aunt told  me and that is that he was born in Kentucky and his father was supposed to have been born in Ireland and that John was a "red-headed irishman". She said she had a tintype photo of him, which I have never seen and may never get to. She apparently gave it to her daughter and I have lost contact with all of those cousins since Hurricane Katrina hit the gulf. The cousin I knew location on has disappeared although, I know he is still living. I'm not sure whether his sister has gotten remarried or what. i believe she is divorced from the husband I have the name of, because I have located him I think in Arizona or California.
Lovena was born in Kentucky as were her parents.

Blessings,
Paula

Infant Daughter Brown
Sorry, have no way of knowing what the top of that tombstone says as I was unable to read it. I think if it would say "twins" on the top, then it would say "Daus" for Daughters of instead of the singular "Dau" for daughter of.

S.A. Brown
I have absolutely no idea if S.A. Brown is Samuel Addison Brown - the tombstone only lists S.A. Sorry, I can not answer that question because I have no way of knowing.

I had gotten the location from a handwritten family genealogy. I have found Theo & Novella in Skeltontown Cemetery and moved their memorials. Thank you for the correction.

Not directly. My GG Grandmother would have had an Ames as a mother-in-law. They would have been in the Cambridge area.

Thank you for making the time to do this. I'm looking for Mary Elizabeth (Churchill) Worden,
and her sons, Wm, Charles B,Stephen, George.
and David.. They should all be buried near each other with David being a short ways away, so I'm told. If you could get any photo's I'd be really appreciative! Thanks again for your work on doing this type of things for us who live out of the area, as I'm in Michigan! Char

RE: Stephen W Churchill
Can you suggest where I can find the records for the Harbor Creek Cem. where you found Stephen Churchill? I am interested in learning the plots and lots and names of relatives buried there. I believe they are all near one another.
Would they be at a Township office or Church?

Thanks for any suggestions you can give. Thank you so much for all the work you have been doing. That is a great service project your group did for us! char
