RE: Wales Cemetery
That would be wonderful. My son-in-law hasn't ever been to the cemetery in wales so I know it would mean a lot to see anything you get pictures of.

Thanks,
Nancy

RE: Merl memorials
OK I added linked memorials for his wife and infant son (assumed). They had at least two more children that I've come across and will look for more facts on them. Found a 1910 census for LFM which shows Florence, kids, and a mother-in-law "Sarah E Modall" however other research indicated Florence's Maiden name was "Woodall" (which matches her marker initial of "W.") with parents John and Martha. So, as usual, there is some conflicting information unless I'm making some incorrect assumptions - not an unlikely situation. If you know the family or have additional factual info let me know.

Gibson Girl
RE: Reasoner graves
They are mine as well!!! I spent 3 days in the area researching my family roots there. I belong to William & Angeline Gibson by their son, Bunyon A. Gibson. It took me about 4 years to figure out Bunyon's first name......let alone who his parents were!! Bunyon moved to Delta Co, Tx between 1880-1890 & then to Upshur Co, where most of descendants have stayed. Glad I could help!! I have lots more pics of Reasoner markers I plan to post as well. I visited the Gibson, Doty, Blue, & Reasoner-Welty Cemeteries while I was there last Spring.

Hi Jon, They are buried in Yountville Pioneer Cem. I'm putting photos on their memorials. The only other marker in their lot is for a baby, Elizabeth Adelle Thomas. I'll put the photo of her marker too. Stay warm!

Hartwell Kyle
There is no burial record for a Hartwell Kyle in Englewood Cemetery. Could there be any other name that the person could have been buried under? A search was made by first name and by last name and by burial date. No Hartwell Kyle or Kyle Hartwell in records. I am willing to look again with more information. Oh, could this person have been cremated and interred at the foot of another grave? Awaiting your answer.

RE: Relative?
Lum was buried in the Carlsbad, Cemetery (this is the actual name of the cemetery) according to his death certificate and his newspaper clippings from his death. His wife is buried in The Elko Cemetery in Elko, Nevada.

I know of two cemeteries in Yountville. The George C. Yount Pioneer Cemetery and Veterans Memorial Grove Cemetery.

I hope that you make contact with the cemetery first, before requesting a photo. It saves those of us claiming photos two or three less steps, if burial information is provided.

Respectfully,

Connie

What was his last name again? I've looked at so many headstones today, I'm amazed I can remember my own last name.

RE: Relative?
Hello,
I think you might have contacted my mother. Lum was buried in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was murdered there. James Marion is still unknown with me also. Same with his wife Sarah. I lean to James Marion parents as William P. Kyle and Susan Broom. But haven't been able to prove it as of yet.

RE: Paul picture requests, KY
Hello again! We are working our way through that part of the county, we were close to those cemeteries today but ran out of time (Judy took over 600 pictures today and is still posting them, she's got about 1/2 of them on so far tonite) but we intend to go back to that area soon. She photographs every stone in each cemetery, so she'll get them for you.
BTW, she said to tell you that cemetery records confirm McBeath as the final resting place of the Pauls, in case you had any doubts.
I'll try to remember to message you when we get the pictures you requested, but Find A Grave should send you an email when they are fulfilled.
Have a nice evening!

Paul picture requests, KY
Hello, Jon. Over 2 years ago you submitted 4 photo requests for "Paul" markers in McBeath Cemetery, Eli, KY. Another contributor reported that she walked the cemetery and could not find the stones. I saw them today, we got pictures, and they will be attached to the memorials shortly. Here's the thing, though: These are only small footstones, and all the say on each one is "Paul". No dates, etc. No way to know which one is which. Just 4 in a row, but somebody was thoughtful enough to provide them.

The Lady in Black
Alfredo & Ruby Castano
Hi Jon:

Took the photos, but they didn't come out as good as I'd hoped. There had been a recent burial in the plot next to theirs, and they haven't done any clean-up. Plus, it started to snow just as I got to their plot, so I had to hurry. If I'd had more time, and was able (I've got a bad back and knees), I would have done a better job of it.

They are not too far from my maternal grandparents, believe it or not!

Take care,
TLIB

It's just me...
RE: Thank you!
You are more than welcome--I visited the cemetery to get some pictures for a family tree I was working on--thought I would just get yours while I was there. I also have a photo of the family plot if you would like me to email it to you. Just let me know an email address if you would like to have it. Thanks and Merry Christmas, lv

Sallie E. Stewart
Hi Jon, Do you know anything of Sallie E. Stewart, # 23795640, wife of W. R. Stewart? Is W R Stewart the brother of W A Stewart # 55161042 (26 Jan 1859)? Sallie is buried in Section 3 of the Little River-Wilson Valley (LRWV)Cemetery and the rest of the older generation are buried in Section 7 & 8 of the OLD Cemetery. Walter "W A" moved to Friendswood, Texas (Houston) yesterday. We took him to dinner at Oscar Store Thursday Eve. I sure will miss him being close! JT

Welcome. No, there are some common styles, some seemingly predominant during given time periods, but the stones are not all the same. wk

RE: Welty Memorial
Hi Jon,

Yes, they were. When I called the Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery to find out the plot location, they told me they were buried at their other location, Woodlawn Cemetery.

Warmest regards,
Donna
