Ferguson memorial # 79184252
Please remove the monument photo that you placed on the Ferguson memorial # 79184252. This photo belongs on the Nelson A. Ferguson memorial, but has already been added there. Thank you very much.

RE: Guy R Redfield
The cemetery reading took place in the early 90s by the Lapeer County Historical Society. Many of the stones in Section A are no longer readable, but I have to believe that they were at that time. His death certificate is also on SeekingMichigan.

Hi Lori,

I made the changes as requested. If you would like me to transfer the memorial to you, I'd be glad to do so.

Also, I see that I sent you a message re: posting an obit for Roxie -- I have since deleted it as I've learned that Find A Grave has a policy about not posting obits without the permission of the newspaper.

Roxie Evans
Hi L E,

I added an obituary for Roxie. There are 2 memorials for her -- both are yours -- you should delete one of them. Save the one that has her photo, the headstone and the obit -- delete the other one.

Homer A. Letts - Evergreen Cemetery
Memorial #68259583. You had posted a photo for his parents, which includes his name on the gravestone. I copied your photo and posted on Homer's memorial.

The question I have is whether or not you live in Michigan, or were you just there on vacation?

I ask because my interpretation of Hommer's date of death was 1892 based on the photo. However, another researcher found a date of death of 1883 using the FHL information posted which is just a transcription and not the actual records.

I was wondering if it would be possible to go to this cemetery and recheck the grave marker to verify the date of death. I would like to have a close up taken of both the birth and death dates for Homer and have them posted on this memorial.

I realize that it is December and perhaps there is quite a lot of snow on the ground, but the cemetery marker does appear to be large enough that perhaps the snow line hasn't reached Homer's dates.

If you aren't in the area, then let me know and I'll post another photo request asking for date confirmation. Thanks in advance.

Shelley Boring
RE: Richard Fockler Headstone
Thank you,
I triple check before I add to ancestry.com.
I've found a few mistakes between the two sites, so I make sure that's the person's headstone.
Thanks again,
Shelley

Richard Fockler Headstone
Hi,
My name is Shelley Boring and I was wondering if it is ok to use your picture of Richard and his wife's headstone on my Burial info at Ancestry.com.
Fockler's are my Aunt Betty's by marriage kin.
Ancestry.com has hooked up with Find a grave, and it's really neat to be able to add the headstones to the persons profile page.
Thanks,
Shelley Boring

RE: Francis Fenner
Sent Mr. Fenner the information I had from City of Evart along with suggestions for Evart's corrections/research. Feel free to add photos from the cemetery to the memorials that I have added. They are my old neighborhood and there for everyone to remember who.
Thanks again for the work and enjoyment you receive from your efforts.

Rachel M. Dage at Forest Hill
Thank you for searching for Rachel M. Dage's place of burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Perhaps she has no grave marker, and that's why you didn't find it. The plot number is 1+1H+011+001+01+0, but I suppose you noticed that information on the memorial. I have compared Rachel's plot number with others in the cemetery, and it looks as if she is buried on her maternal grandparents' lot--the Bonesteel lot. I hadn't realized that when I first posted the request, or I would have made a note of it.
I really appreciate the fact that you searched for me and hope you enjoyed the walk!
