RE: John William's Obituary
Well I was wondering if you had the obit and extracted info for the pg ... it is similar. The edits I sent you are per data in obit and comparing to online data. I have his obit. It was in a select few found in a book of obits I have for that area. I was just trying to make the memorial pg as complete as possible.

I see you have now added his obit - great!

Toni Gentry
Frank Howard Gentry
Donna,

I am curious about the source for the listed parents of Frank. I think someone has confused him with Frank Gentry b. 1878 in. La (son of William Russell Gentry). I would like to correspond with the person who contributed WR as father. I believe this is Frank Howard Gentry, son of Rufus Gentry, brother of Nora Gentry.

Thank you for any assistance,
Toni

Gladys (Fay) Richardson
Hello Donna, just wanted to say thank you for creating this for Gladys. I'm happy to have come across her memorial here while researching the Fay line. She is my Gr-Grand Aunt. Her sister is my great Grandmother Marion Fay Burns from Boston. It was so nice to see a photo of her posted on the memorial. I only have a couple photos of my gr-grandmother and none of her sisters so seeing a photo of Gladys was wonderful! How are you related to Gladys? Do you happen to have any other photos that you could share with me of Gladys's sisters or their parents Ferdinand & Mary (Cameron) Fay? I am still holding on to hope that someday while researching I might come across a relative that has a photo of them! I am happy to share whatever info or photos that I have with you or any other extended cousins that might read this! You can reach me here on Find A Grave or my personal email: jenbrazel@ yahoo. com. Hope to hear from you! Thanks again for creating this wonderful memorial. --Jen

Location of Grayson Cemetery, Sherman, TX
You have posted a photo of a gravestone for William Rueben Brooks whose site lists his burial as Grayson Cemetery. I have received a photo request for another gravesite that is located in that cemetery. In checking the Grayson County, TX genweb site, there is no Grayson Cemetery listed. Can you provide me with the exact location of this cemetery? Thank you for your help.

Headstones
Has anyone added the Headstone information of
Hulda and Ansel Bridges to Find a Grave from the Myrtle Cememtery. If not, is there someone I can contact to see if they would. I live in CA and it's sort of hard to get it done on a personal level. Thank you. Valerie Hamilton

Joe W Tippit Sr
Richardson / Allee Families
Donna,
I feel I should know YOU. I have known the Richardson and Allee Families since about 1953.

My dad, Johnnie Tippit, and Raymond Richardson served as Elders in the congregation of the Church of Christ known as Yale St Gardens. Later known as 149 Church of Christ. Now known as 249 Church of Christ. I served there as a Deacon as did Phelan Allee.

I would guess that you are related to the Richardson / Allee families. If so, how?

Did you know my parents? My parents are Johnnie and Susie Tippit.

Thank you for your contributions to Find-a-grave.

Best regards,

Joe W. Tippit

Hi Donna. I see you left family details for James H Vinson, are you related to the family? James was my uncle, the brother of my father.

Donna

My name is Larry Smith (Find A Grave #47470381) , While researching my Smith family tree in Ancestry.com also on Find A Grave you were linked to Newman and Absalom "Abner" Smith. I looked at your Bio information on Find A Grave. My great great grandfather was Newman Smith. I appreciated the history you have added in Ancestry.com also on Find A Grave about Abner and Newman. Would you have any extra information on Newman's death and any other family history you would be willing to share? Also would you allow me to be the administrator to Newman, or please link Newman to Abner in Find A Grave? I am just getting started using Ancestry.com and Find A Grave. I have a friend in my Church that got me started with another side of my family. Smith being such a common name and because my grandfather Dock Alfred Smith did not leave much family information I never thought I could find them. As you have been a member of Find A Grave for over (6) years, if I ask for information on Find A Grave or Ancestry.com that you think is not proper please educate me on what is acceptable. I am just interested in the history.

Thanks Larry Smith.

Newman Smith
Hi Donna,

Newman Smith is on my family tree as well. I have had two volunteers go to the Black Jack Cemetery and they have not found a stone for Newman Smith. Do you have some sort of documentation that he was buried there? I suppose it is more than likely that since the family owned the land it is now on, that the grave was either unmarked or marker through the years has been covered up or rotted away? Where did you get your info from? I too have had some things handed down through the family. I need to go back through the papers to see if they address any of what you have been able to uncover. Thanks for your research.
