RE: here is an elliot 1918
Dan, thank you so much for all the info on the Elliotts. I really appreciate it. Sorry that I haven't responded earlier - you sent a message back on August 1st - same day that our cat had kittens. I haven't really been on Find A Grave since then because all FIVE of them are keeping me VERY busy! I'm actually coming down to DE and PA in Sept. to see some of these graves. Can't wait!!

RE: Ellis & Emeline Springer
Ellis is the son of Isaac and Catherine. I got on a roll last night and added at least 80 descendants to my tree. I updated my RootsWeb tree this morning. I like the descendancy view http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=DESC&db=rjmorrison&id=I14227

Thank you

RE: Margaret Criswell
Tonight, I've been working on the descendants of Isaac and Catherine (Dawson) Springer. http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/57321330/person/30021676193

I was trying to find more on Isaac but got on a roll with his descendants. Other family trees have Isaac dod about 1870 in Chester County. He was in Chester County in the 1870 US Census. http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=1870usfedcen&h=2148729&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pt&ssrc=gr_t57321330_p30021676193_ktidz0q3d57321330z0q26pidz0q3d30021676193z0q26hidz0q3d51421745453z0q26dbidz0q3d7163z0q26rpidz0q3d2148729z0q26ssrcz0q3dgrz0q26pgz0q3d32768z0q252c32782z0q26pgplz0q3dpidz0q252ctidz0q257cpidz0q257chidz0q257cdbidz0q257crpidz0q257cssrcz0q26pgpsz0q3d30021676193_h51421745453

Any good ideas where I could look for more info about Isaac?

I'm fairly confident that Isaac is the son of Thomas and Sarah (Foulk/Faulk) Springer of Delaware. With the Springer Hoax, I find myself looking for more solid documentation. http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/57321330/person/30021677106

Thank you

How did you know that I just read the death cert and sent Find A Grave edits? Margaret is my cousins and fellow descendant of Charles Springer of Delaware.

Thank you

RE: William A. Cloud
Thanks. However, I have sent them 2 or 3 messages previously and not heard back, since last year. I'll go in to each one and set up a virtual cemetery and do a download. That'll take less time then entering everything manually, I think.

RE: William A. Cloud
Thanks Dan. I have asked Marlborough Meeting about providing Chester County Historical Society with the list of burials there and they will bring it up at their October General Meeting. They have provided Swarthmore with a photo of the old handwritten list. I learned today that they lost the document they typed up from the transcript so I volunteered to create a new spreadsheet of that data for them (it has not been added to in years however) and I will do it in format that will upload to find-a-grave for those you don't already have listed. Question for you: Other than having to tag all 94 entries into a virtual cemetery is there a way I can download all the entries for Marlborough Cemetery?

Thanks,
Loraine

RE: Joseph Paulson / Harry Overley
Dan Oh,

I did see your Home page - hence my "tantrum"! :)

Thanks for listening!

I thought maybe Clark would be buried in the same cemetery as his parents but couldn't find anything to substantiate it. So ...

Good luck in your hunt!

Best wishes,
High Plains :)

Joseph Paulson / Harry Overley
Hi Dan Oh,

Yes, I know there are two entries for Joseph Paulson - his ashes are in Arizona and there is also a marker for him at Oaklawn Cemetery in Concrete, ND with his parents. The woman who made the Oaklawn entry is a hoarder as she will only transfer according to Find a Grave guidelines which does not include beloved uncles and aunts. She has the memorials for a good number of my husband's and my relatives which she did just before I discovered Find a Grave. I waited three months to receive a transfer for my husband's mom's memorial and she wasn't really too happy to transfer until I said I would sign up my husband on Find a Grave and she would have to transfer to him according to guidelines.

As far as Clark, I have been unable to find an obituary or where he is buried. I asked his former brother in law and he doesn't know either. His wife has died and when she was alive I was interested in genealogy, but not where people had been buried. I'm not even positive of the date of his death - I have 26 Oct 1967 but there is a SS death index with his birth date (as I have it) and death date of Jan 1967.

So, I'm sorry that I can't help you with his burial place!

Best wishes,
High Plains :)

Yerk memorial transfer
Thank you so much for transferring management of David's memorial. He was cremated and his children have not yet relayed his final resting place. As the information becomes available, I will update. David was incredibly respected and loved. He is missed dearly. Thanks again Mike O!

Maude Lobb
Dan,
I corrected the memorial for Maude Lobb, but the picture was put on by Find A Grave. They need to know they have either the picture wrong or the name of the cemetery incorrect.
Thank you!

Rebecca & Hannah Fertig
Dan - Rebecca and Hannah, sisters, were living together on the 1860 and 1880 Census. In 1900, Rebecca was living with niece and her husband, Elwood Woodland and Joanna (Fertig) Weiler-Woodland. Obit on Rebecca's Find A Grave sire was more than likely for Hannah....Thanks, Pat

Hi Dan,
I'm not sure if I thanked you for locating, and adding, the Daily Local obit for Jacob Ludwick McAfee. He was my 3rd gr-grandfather and it's nice to know more about him. So if I didn't say so before...thank you very much!
