Regarding Eliza Smith Thomes in Mohawk Cemetery
Eliza Smith is her correct name, not Eliza Smith Thomes.
Bridget Phoebe Long(Eliza's daughter) was married to George Ephraim Thomes, and they are our great-grandparents.

Eliza Smith was our great-great-grandmother.

I have pasted her memorial number below.

Thank you in advance for correcting this.

Thanking a Hero
Thank you for posting the graves of George L. Hewett. He saved my life when I was a baby. If not for this Hero I would not have been alive to have children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Thank you for making it possible to say Thank you to my Hero.

Benjamin Frank Duvall
Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that on find a grave, there is a picture of Frank's tombstone.
Thank-you,

Duvall should be Phelps
Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that two entries you have for William Preston and his wife Esther Elizabeth should have the last names of Phelps and not Duvall. Their daughter, Esther married Benjamin Frank Duvall.
On find a grave, Benjamin Frank is buried at Saint Thomas’ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Croom, Prince George’s Co MD, but I am not certain of this because there is no picture of his tombstone.
Just wanted to bring this to your attention.
Thank you,
Karen A Berry

Michael Christians
Welcome and Greetings
Dear Rebecca; I was reading your profile and was glad to see you know our Savior Jesus as your friend and guide. I to also know him as my master and friend, since I met him as a boy in our small country church where I grew up on a farm and where I know my grandparents and most of family went to. I also am interested in looking in cemetery's both large and small find family members I know are buried there and sometimes finding them by accident. I find them very peaceful and relaxing to look at sometimes the words carved on the stone sometimes tells a little about that person and how they lived. If you ever wish to contact me about something I would be glad to hear from you. Love in Christ, Mike Christians.

Capt Charles N Holcomb
Rebecca,
I have noted the record you have added october 08/2012. I am a Find A Grave member and also honorary member for the USAAC 474th Fighter Group and can give you some information regarding capt Charles N holcomb. Capt Holcomb, 9th US Army Air corps, 474th Fighter group, 429th Fighter Squadron was killed in action in a dog fight in the vicinity of MOUY, a village located 50km N of Paris, France on the 25th of august, 1944. He was one of eleven of that group shot down on aug 25th, 1944. 4 of this group were caught and became prisoners of war, 3 evaded capture and 4 were killed. The 25th of august 1944 was known as the 'black friday' by the 474th Fighter Group.

Rebecca Emmett
India V. McGinnis Ford
I'm trying to find information on India, a cousin, and I see two different gravesites for her, this one and #82550775. Yours has her correct name on the tombstone, but a different date of death than the NC death index indicated. The other one has minimal information on the tombstone, but accurate information on her parents and birth/death dates. I have no idea which one is accurate. Do you mind telling me what you know about her?

Zoe Tom
Ameriah Kibbe
Hi, Rebecca - Thanks for all the pictures you have taken for me. A relative of the Kibbe people is looking for Ameriah Kibbe in Dolgeville Cemetery or Herkimer County or Fulton County. Right now I have him listed as Ameriah Kibbe, burial unknown, and I have his son, John Milton Kibbe connected to him.
John is buried in Dolgeville Cemetery and his relative thinks that Ameriah Kibbe might be there too. I know those records on-line are not too complete. Could you investigate a bit and see if you can find out where Ameriah Kibbe is buried or just if he IS buried in Dolgeville Cemetery???

Thanks again in advance.
Zoe
