RE: Margaret Alice Brickey
Thank you Nancy. Are you related to the Brickey/Pate families? I wondered whether we were cousins or if instead you are genealogy researcher.

RE: Margaret Alice Brickey
Good question. My mom is France's Brickey Lambdin. Her dad was Luther O. Brickey,. Her grandfather was James Nathaniel Brickey who was married to my mom's grandmother, Ida Pate Brickey. Both James and Ida are buried in the Hutchinson Eastside cemetery. We have visited their graves and the grave of Margaret Alice Brickey.

James Brickey's parents were Robert Brickey and Margaret Alice Pate Brickey. I have a copy of their marriage bond. And I have a copy of James' death certificate which lists both of his parents, as Robert and Margaret Pate Brickey.
Mom told me that Margaret, her great grandmother, was buried in the same cemetery as her grandpa James and grandmother, Ida. The years on the grave marker match.
Right now I don't any other document about Margaret Alice Brickey, but I'll ask mom.

Margaret Alice Pate Brickey
I believe that Margaret Alice Pate Brickey is the same person as Margaret Alice Brickey as year of birth and death match. She married to Robert Brickey. I can not find any grave for her husband Robert Brickey. Do you know where he was buried?

Hi Nancy,

I only know that the Stagners in my Abbotts connect. I am a Briggs/Abbott.

I think it was Mildred Stagner who was a cousin to my grandmother, Birdie (Briggs) Abbott in TX.

My Ancestor is Benjamin Franklin Abbott b. 1812, NC/TN, m. Caroline Pickett Willis b. 1817, TN.
I cannot find them. They had a son: William Augusta Abbott b. 1837 m. Nancy Jane Weems.

These are connected to Abbott Oil Co., in Beaukiss, Williamson Co., TX.

Anything sound familiar?

Thanks

Gayle

Alice May is about 73 years old. Her mother wrote extensively about the lifer of her father, John Guess. I hope Alice will give some of those stories for this WW I research project. Thanks again.

Dear Nancy: Thank you for your kind words. I started with my research when I was 17 years old, now I am 52. In the past I could help many veterans, or their children and grandchildren to find back their tracks. We have a WWII cemetery with some 250 graves here at our town. Every year we find 4 - 7 remains of soldiers here in the area. I want share more information with you. Please can you contact me at: al-trostorf@t-online.de for further correspondence?

Thank you in advance.

Kindest regards
Albert

John Wallace Guess
Hi Nancy. I'm an historical writer/researcher from Cochise Co., AZ (near Steins, NM). My current project is writing about WW I veterans who served in Siberia from 1918-1920. John Guess, son of Henry Guess, was in Siberia with the 31st Infantry Reg. Do you know of any of his relatives that I could contact for his photo and stories about his time in Russia?
