Yes, they're everywhere! And, you're right, there's an air of class in those photos. Will get photos for you.

Darby's at ANC
Hi,
I'm about to post the photos you requested for Taylor Darby at Arlington National. It wasn't until I reviewed my photos that I noticed that one of his brothers is buried in the row straight ahead of him! So, when I'm there next week, I'll take photos of the stone for Marshall Darby. I also now see that another of his brothers, Charles, is at ANC, close to one of my relatives, so I'll go by his site to get photos to post, as well.
Thank you.

HI Glenn: No, we don't. I asked my Aunt who got the copy of the Amos photo from a distant cousin and that was one of the only pictures from that side of the family we have. Any reason why you are looking for it? Just curious?

The memorial is for Linwood Thomas Offutt, Jr. 1940-1940. However, the photograph is for another son, George Edward Offutt.

Linwood Thomas and Helen Celeste (Walter) Offutt did have a son named Linwood Thomas Offutt, Jr. He was born in 1942 and died earlier this year.

Do you think they had two sons named Linwood Thomas Offutt, Jr. one in 1940 who died and one in 1942? Is the photograph merely missing as the correct photograph is attached to George Edward Offutt?

find out if she's actually buried next to her folks. Someone is it appears. Maybe someone will see this and have them dig the marker up if one is there...

Thanks

Jeff has made contact with me and it appears that I have a good bit of his family.

When you get a chance, would you please remove the edit or else I will have to deny it.

Your help is appreciated,
Margaret

Glenn

Thank you for the edit for the memorial for A. Wilson Taylor. A family member recently sent me a message that the A. was for Albert. Your edit is for the name Arthur. Are you also related?

Should I change it back to the inscription on the gravestone and list both first names in the biography? I am not related.

Your help is appreciated.
Margaret

RE: Nora Morningstar's husband
I went back to the obituary to make sure it said Edward and it did so I put your note below the obituary. We documented the entire cemetery and did not find a stone for her husband, which doesn't mean he isn't there - stone could be buried or destroyed. Thank you for your contributions to Find A Grave. Not many Find A Grave contributors documenting entire cemeteries and researching each person.

RE: Carol Hope Ballenger
Carol Hope Sowers Ballinger Donovan, b.Oct. 19, 1924 d.April 15, 2011. The infant, Carol Hope Ballenger, still-born, April 29, 1943, was buried with Irving Ballenger, husband of Nellie Holland Burdette Ballenger Benson, mother of Gilbert E. Ballinger. My father changed the "e" to an "i" in Ballinger, as I was told, when he was in the Army and they misspelled his name. Carol Lynn Ballinger Anstine
