 | Andre Breton Dear David, How wonderful to meet a kindred spirit and to know that you have visited Andre Breton's grave. In the mid-1970s I worked on my dissertation with his first wife, Simone, and was very touched when she asked me to take her to his grave. This year a new Find-A-Grave member from Turkey also left Breton a tribute, and when I thanked him he suggested that we meet at Breton's grave someday. What an amazing brotherhood/sisterhood Find-A-Grave can be! Cordially, Janice aka TigressAdded by Tigress on Feb 26, 2013 12:05 PM | |

 | Andre Breton Dear David, Thank you so much for honoring Andre Breton on his birthday. I was in Paris that day but didn't make it to his grave. But as his daughter wrote to me, he isn't in the cemetery. He is in our thoughts and our hearts. All the best, Janice aka TigressAdded by Tigress on Feb 24, 2013 10:00 AM | |

 | Hi, Glad to see that your memorials are on the famous list. I voted on them. Hope you are well. CherylAdded by AnneBoleynTudor on Jun 09, 2012 1:15 AM | |

 | RE: Robert Merrill Thanks for your note. Because the memorial now carries the "famous" designation it is no longer under my control.
To change the birth date you will need to send an email to to the folks at Find A Grave (famous@findagrave.com ?)with the correct date and a source that supports the proposed change to the birth date.

 | RE: Parray and Francaix I don't get on here til the wee hours usually and I live on the east coast. There may be a time difference. Neither one was on famous and there isn't voting on the reguar memorials.I'll keep trying and go earlier. I think that before a famous memorial is posted as such that they research them. Also I think they check different sites to make sure the material is not copied and pasted because of copyright issues. I write and copyright issues are a big deal. Hang in there.Added by AnneBoleynTudor on Jun 02, 2012 2:25 AM | |

 | RE: Hi You are very welcome. It was a pleasure reading about him. I looked at the bottom of his memorial page and there wasn't a place to vote. I'll keep checking. Have a good day.

 | RE: John Aldis I hate making mistakes like this, but I've done it before and probably will again. My fault totally...I THINK I got the photo from the "Daily Telegraph, UK" but still my bust.
I added a photo and asked the admins to approve it and remove the other. There is a certain superficial resemblence...also roughly same age and profession.
Thank you so much for writing,

 | RE: Tchaikovsky Birthdate Perhaps but he was a Russian in Russia. If you wish to submit your argument to admin: '...if the record is designated as 'famous,' please email the corrections to info@findagrave.com. Be sure to include a link to the memorial record that needs to be corrected, as well as any information about the record that needs to be corrected or added, such as the individual's full name, birth/death dates, cemetery name and location..."Added by Iola on May 09, 2010 11:13 AM | |

 | Editing Hello David,
Thanks for the kind words. Regrettably, I cannot do any editing at all of any famous memorials. No one but the administrators have that privilege. Many editing requests can be handled at the forums pages http://www.findagrave.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=399290#Post399290 Alternately you can e-mail the staff at edit@findagrave
