RE: You!
Yes :) I'm adding a little more every day. I'm working my way through the old pre-1850 Massachusetts Vital Records books. I Look for the GR# and check to see if the people are listed in the cemeteries. I was jumping all around through the records and recently decided to just go alphabetically. I'm in Middlesex county in Cambridge now. Keeps the brain active doing the research :)

RE: Jacob Priest
Awesome! I knew you'd find her. I was going cross-eyed with finding info on his second wife, Sarah Longley. I love when they have the same maiden name and married name. lol Maybe someday we will be able to find both of their first spouses and where they are buried. :)

RE: Mary French
I was wondering if she was married before Ephraim Curtis. I saw the "Ms" and her age on the marriage record. I also couldnt find any parents or birth info for a Mary Peacock.

Awesome sleuthing work! :)

RE: Venus Rowe
Hi Bill, I did see it on the memorials. I just thought it was very interesting story. (and was kind of confirming what I saw). Didnt mean to send repeating information, sometimes I get carried away. Denise.

13067272 Daniel Morrison
Hello, Bill,
I submitted an edit request for Daniel Morrison, 13067272. Unfortunately, find-a-grave no longer gives space to explain the request.

Daniel Morrison in Byfield Cemetery is the one who married Hannah Griffin about 1690. His birthdate is unknown. This Daniel Morrison died before 10 May 1737 when his estate was probated (Essex Probate File 1888).

The son, Daniel Morrison, born 1 August 1691 was the son of this man. He removed to Wells, Maine where he left a will dated 24 July 1756 Sargent, Maine Wills, pp. 484-486) . Unfortunately, no gravestones exist in Wells from this early date.

Thanks for making the correction.
Best, Brooke

Tonya Chamberlain
Memorial #11577815
Hi Bill,

In regards to this memorial (#11577815), for Elizabeth White Chamberlain Boynton, you listed her father as Daniel Chamberlain, and her mother as Betsey Pearson. Is there any other information that you may have about them? Daniel and Betsey's parents, siblings, etc? I have found their marriage info, as well as Betsey's death info, but otherwise, nothing else. I've scoured the Pearson/Chamberlain lines (as best I can via the internet) and can't find anything else about either of them other than your note in the record.

Anything you have to offer is greatly appreciated.

Tonya (Boynton) Chamberlain

RE: John Patten
You're welcome. I hope I'm not driving you nuts with all the edits/updates. I found some transcripts for Billerica and am going thru them. I just love to do research. I like to be able to fill in missing information, such as maiden names, birth dates etc. whenever I can.

RE: Timothy Dwight
Yes, my apologies! "He first settled at Watertown, Mass., but stayed there but a short time. The Dedham, Mass. records began Sept., 1, 1635, on the day when the first town meeting was held. Of the twelve persons assembled together at the time, John Dwight was one".

RE: Willard Goldthwait
Hi Bill,
Dolly is already on Find A Grave in Harmony Grove Cemetery but the memorial is a relatively new one and it appears that her husband Willard, although named on the memorial, is actually buried in South Cemetery. At least he has a gravestone there.
I am wondering if Dolly also had an older gravestone either in South or Harmony Grove Cemetery, hence my question.
I am not sure that the birth dates on the more recently erected gravestone are correct so I am attempting to locate the original, if there was one.
Many thanks,

Willard Goldthwait
Hi Bill,
This is a long shot but do you happen to know if Willard's wife (Dolly Johnson) is also buried in South Cemetery? Or if there is a marker that just says "wife" near him?
There is a monument to her and Willard in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem, MA. It looks newer than 1852 (the year she died). Since Willard is in South Cemetery, I wondered if she was too.
Many thanks,

Bill, check out memorial # 50757456. It appears someone snatched your headstone photo off of memorial # 24407097 instead of actually going to a different cemetery and taking a photo. Only different Sarah, different dates and different town. Not the way to fulfill a photo request.
Thought you might want to know. I'm a little ticked, it's my request for a GGGGrandmother.

Correction for Sally (Pickard) Todd
# 11562862 and her [sic] mother Mary Hammond Pickard # 11558469.
Mary Hammond Pickard died 1748 and her widower Jonathan Pickard remarried 10/31/1751 to Mary Hibbert (1718-1721). Thus she is the likely mother of Sally (Pickard) Todd.
I see your name a lot at this site and I want to thank you for all your incredible work.

I looked on his memorial page again and I now see the reference to the Harrington family book that you gave. Sorry I missed that the first time around. Thanks again for the summary.
