RE: Memorial#30468929
Don't quite understand your location. Highland Memorial is a very large cemetery. I am sending you how some of of the sections are listed.
Sections: 1,2,3,4,9,9 north 10, 12, 12 north,22 19,18, 17, 20, 21, 23. Those are the numbered sections then you get into names; a few are Veteran Garden, Masonic Garden,Christus, Gospels just to name a few. Could he be in the Veteran Garden?? They go by Section number and Plot.

If you are the requestor for a photo I will take picture for you but you need to contact cemetery to get Section# & Plot #

You're welcome Jeff. They were in an area where you can't drive your vehicle but only a short walk and they were easy to find. Glad to be able to fill your requests.

RE: Ocejo - Calvary Cemetery
Please update your request with this information so other volunteers won't pass it by. You may have to delete the original and post a new request. Since I take photos on my lunch hour I only do 1st Calvary because it is nearby but it doesn't include this section. I'm sure someone else will pick it up.

Struble, Katherine Permelia
Greetings Jeff,

I am a volunteer with Find A Grave in the Los Angeles California area. While I was reviewing the photo request. I notice you were not sure if George Freeman Sturble, Sr. wife is laid to rest next to him or not. I located her on the Forest Lawn database & there is a Struble, Katherine Permelia with a date of Jan.15,1967. They are buried together In Section Meditation Lot #694 Space #1. I am E-mailing you the info I found. I think you should have the honor of listing Katherine Struble on Find A Grave or do you want me to create a memorial for her.

PS let me know if you get my E-Mail?

Glad to be of service.
Mrs. Betty Allaire

Thanks for the correction.

A family member needs to notify the Dept of Veterans Affairs that they have the wrong DOD. They show 2011 instead of 2012. I'll add this info to her bio as a note.

I'm now curious what date is on her marker . . .

Cox family - Hillside Cemetery
Hi Jeff,

I was in Hillside Cemetery in Middletown NY today and found the stone for Cornelia Stalter Cox. I added a photo to the record. You may want to take a look at it as it contains her date of birth so her record can be updated.

It also lists her husband and her son Edward. Edward is already recorded here, but it doesn't look like John is. I'm happy to add him if you'd like but thought you might want to do it so you're managing the Cox family records.

Please let me know if you'd like me to email the picture directly to you.

Kind regards,

Grave Matters
RE: Swackhammer Cemetery
My pleasure. :)

In the coming months we are going to start restoring some (hopefully all) of the stones. Also the place has been VERY cleaned out over the last few months. We intend to seed it and make it look cared for again (we have yet to find out what can be done for the church itself).

More pics of the place can be found here:

and pics and info on the conservation efforts can be found here:
