RE: Albert and Alice Bennett
Hi Sally. No, they aren't related to me, that I know of at this point. Just ran across some good information and added it. Thank you, and thank you for all your great work for this wonderful site!

Thank you so much for all the work you have done on this family. My husband's family ties into this family through George Clark Cooley who marries Henrietta Crandell.

RE: Moulton Family
Thank you for the offer to transfer the Moulton sites, which I gladly accept. I hope it's not too late-- I have been very ill and am only now on the mend and back to work.
If you want to see my connection to the Moulton family, click on my memorials. My mother was Doris Ann Moulton.

4th generation guideline
I could not agree with you more about the silliness of the 4th generation guideline !! It truly does make me wonder why on earth people who document other peoples family stones will not transfer. It makes no sense to me at all !! I have documented many graves, and I just hope for their relatives to claim the memorial. If recognition is the problem, the documenter's name always remains on the memorial, and furthermore, that memorial can never be deleted by anyone but the originator. I can understand if it is a relative, but otherwise what on earth are these people thinking !! They still have the recognition, their numbers stay the same and they basically are still in charge, they can still delete that memorial.

Charlie Allen
I moved Charles' photo to his memorial page. I learned that Charlie is buried right next to Charles. Unfortunately, his gravestone is covered in a couple of inches of ice. I will get you this photo as soon as I am able.

The cemetery sexton asked me if you have anymore information on Charlie than just the year of death. He would like to update his records with dates of birth and death if you have them. Thanks.

Ethel Clear
In her obituary you listed and on her cemetery stone it says May 7 she was born but you have it on her memorial as May 17th. Also She is the sister of Margaret Klein in the Shiloh Valley Cemetery in Shiloh, IL if you would like to attach them together.

Pete Wine
Are you related or have any further info on Pete Wine. My ancestor's father was Pete Wine born in Iowa but dates tell me your Pete Wine were not possible, so perhaps you know of Pete's father. Thanks.

RE: Frances Norton
Hello there! I wasn't sure if I had responded to your thanks you note. I do the paper work, but Mark Brobst deserves the credit for the excellent photos. He got me back into actively searching thru the records, after many years of watching other family members do the heavy lifting!

It was the sense of adventure that FINDaGrave brings to those who can turn it into a treasure hunt! Now I have become an active crusader, to open up this world of Find & SEEK, to the young people in this region, as well as my siblings' numerous offspring, who saw genealogy as something that grandma did indoors. Besides, I have fun doing the research!

Hello Sally! Would you please transfer to me my relative, Melissa Louise Thompson # 33086379 in the Berthoud Cemetery? I'd like to add some bio information for this sweet "old maid" of 94, who as an orphan had no other family than my gt. grandfather and his children. I don't want her forgotten. Thanks!

I'm very glad to do it! Thanks for sending your Williams and Salisbury connections. The museum in Salisbury has an excellent picture of the man the town was named for, and lots of info on the family, too.

Williams in Chariton County
Hi Sally,
I'm glad I could help. The Williams Cemetery was very overgrown and required a lot of brush-cutting just to get to the stones, but think we found all the stones. The Chariton County Historical Society has more information on the burials here, in case you want to contact them. They have a great website with a "Contact Us" link.

RE: James Gerald Osborn
I had a lot of trouble with this photo. The light was never good because of the glare from the memorial. I tried going after 6 pm on a cloudy day to get Mary's hoping for more shade. What my husband and I got were the sprinklers. I did sneak up and take some photos and then hide behind a tree and came out and took some more. I think I like Mary's photo better. If you like I can delete the one on James's memorial and post the one I took for Mary there. Or, if you like James' better I can post that one on Mary's. I'd go later then 6pm but the cemetery closes.
