RE: Lena Ellis Bell
Thanks for adding the links and for your kind offer to transfer Lena Ellis Bell's memorial to me. She's not my ancestor and I would not have requested a transfer, but she is my great aunt and I would be happy to manage her memorial if you aren't more closely related.

Happy hunting,

Bill S.

Boykin grave stones
Thanks so much, Pattie, for replying. I was afraid that was the case - overgrown. I guess I'll have to make a trip that way one day and just crawl around through the cemetery. You mentioned a clean-up going on - any idea when that will be finished? Pam Hensley

Burwell Brown
Hi Pattie,

Thanks for adding the info on Burwell Brown to his memorial. I have added the info from that article to his memorial. Can you pin down his date of death closer than year only?

Thanks again,

John

Mayflower Pilgrim 332
Andrew and Philadelphia Bryan
Information came from census records & a relative of Andrew & Philadelphia Bryan. I have had a photo request in since these sites were created for someone to go out to this cemetery. Unfortunately, Some areas of the county are not good for volunteers. They have been placed in this cemetery since other relatives are there. You are the only person who ever responded to their entries. I note the birth place of Ireland--a census report said Pennsylvania. Some people did want to to say Ireland back then so this may be right. Richard

Levi Stokes Holcomb
There are 2, maybe 3, unmarked graves, south of Sarah Holcomb's grave. Who, if anyone, may be buried in those spots is just speculation.

The Charles Johnston stone has been rubbed and reads 1855. We go with the dates on the stones, if you can send us a source for the 1856 date we will note it.

McAlpin Graves
Thank you for your photos of the McAlpin family graves at New Salem Cemetery. From what I've read, it's very difficult to get to. Since you have been there, do you know what modern road it's off of and approximate distance back in the woods? I would like to document the location for my records. The current descriptions of its location I've found are very vague and I know how easily places like this become lost.

RE: Taylor graves at Raymond Cemetery
Pattie,

Thank you so much for adding the pictures of my great aunt and uncle's graves and uncle Jimmy's grave. I was able to leave flowers and that meant a lot to me.

May God bless you and thank you for the work you do that helps people sort of "reconnect" with their departed loved ones.

Taylor graves at Raymond Cemetery
Hi, Pattie!

I was wondering if you could check something for me.

I have some relatives buried in the Raymond Cemetery but I can't find any record of them.

They are:
Dora Kelly Taylor (died either 1983 or 1984)
WP Moore Taylor (died 1980)
Jimmy Russell (died 1989

WP Moore Taylor is the brother of Oscar Laurin Taylor, if that helps.

Thank you so much. Thank you for putting Oscar Taylor's grave image up ~ he was the brother of my great uncle and I have happy memories of him when I was a little girl and we would visit my grandmother, Lucille Kelly Barnett, who lived in Raymond. It was so nice to be able to put flowers on Uncle Oscar's grave!

Do you know if this is an unmarked grave? A volunteer went to take a photo and saw the wife's marker but could not find one for Albert.
