RE: George and Nora
How are you related to George and Nora?

George and Nora
George and Nora Freshwater took my dad in (Charles Clouner/aka Charlie freshwater, the country musician)when he was a rebellious teen. I do believe he gave them some grief, but he remained friends with them their entire lives. After George was dead many years and my dad was alone, he went to live with Nora in Columbus in her small home. He did chores for her. I remember going there as a child with my parents and brother, especially around Thanksgiving and I recall her serving green tomato pie. It was delicious. I did not know George before he was bedridden, but I do know that Nora took care of him for a long time. She was a sweet person and seemed very patient.

RE: re: Gladys Thompson
Thanks, don't suppose you have close up pics for them or the grave location? The cemetery told a photo volunteer that they had no records on him being buried there.... donna

He is buried beside his parents. You have the main pic on his parents, but not on him...can you add the main gravestone pic to him also?

thanks for clearing out the edits...some of the edits are in the hands of the "owners" and might take a month for findagrave to do them by default...you know who "D"'s memorials are done in a week by them...donna white

RE: Robert M. Kilbury Link
Dave may have requested the older merges. I was linking up your tree and I requested the newer merges to make for less confusion over who is who. Sorry for any links I messed up. You can still own/get transfers of your direct line up to your great grandparents. For one thing, if people get linked up and there is a merge later, it can unlink a tree. Better to have the merge first, then the people linked together. donna

RE: Robert M. Kilbury Link
I thought you could go in the bio of his father where the link is...might be one in his mother's bio also. I emailed findagrave also to fix the links in both memorials since the merge.

I sent you a bunch of edits on your main page...see the edit tab. It will link your "tree" together, except for the one Dave has and I emailed edit@findagrave to link his memorial into your tree. Might take a week for that.
