Hi. I left a picture on the memorial you have for Capt. Berry with the source of the picture written in the caption. Hope it's okay with you.

Mendel/Mendell memorials
Hi -

I saw that you had made some suggestions regarding my grandfather (Clifford) and great-grandfather's (Max) memorials and that you added my great grandmother (Minnie) to Find A Grave. I have been remiss in updating information on Find A Grave, so I never added Minna/Minnie or added the info to my grandfather's memorials.

Are you related? If so, I would love to share information with you!

John & Hixie Trammell
Thanks for the edits on the above. I presume you are related since you have eight Trammell's listed in your virtual cemetery. Don't hesitate to ask for transfers.

I am happy to transfer this memorial to you. I am not related, just take pictures to post on Find A Grave in hopes they will be useful to someone.

Anna Elizabeth WYRICK Pruner
Hello one more time DNB!!

As a result of the information you sent to be added to Daniel and his father, George Michael Pruner, I was able to LINK Anna Elizabeth WYRICK
MOTHER to Daniel
WIFE to George Michael per your note married in Virginia in 1808.

After checking the cemetery, I noticed I created an

ANNA E. Pruner Memorial with her tombstone stating WIFE OF GEORGE PRUNER.

So, I went ahead and LINKED her to her husband George and Son, Daniel. There is also a daughter listed: Lydia PRUNER Baker so I sent the Link and Request to connect Mother and Daughter, thus resulting in the entire family connected. I just love it when the Memorials are connected to their families!!

Thank you so much for the additional information! Are you related to them??

RE: Thomas Moon
I suggested it to them; but they were not receptive. I think it could be a simple filter to their program; i.e. same name, same dob, same dod, same state, county and city, same cemetery! Geesh how hard could that be!

RE: Thomas Moon
Same here; I search by name, cemetery, etc. I asked Find A Grave admin if they had a filter that would catch duplicates and the answer was no. Anyway, thanks for bringing it to my attention - it is never my intention to duplicate a memorial and I have no problem deleting. Thanks for what you do too.

My memorial has been deleted; don't know why the other one did not show up when I created mine or I have not have. Thanks for bringing to my attention.

RE: Anna May Stafford
I am so sorry it took me so long to link the memorials for you. I am new to the management part and had no idea that the corrections came across like they do.

I have linked mother and daughter.

Again, I am sorry.

Huldah Pearce
Hi, Dierdre,
I don't know if I answered you about Huldah Pearce. My information came from many sources. I found some on line on and I also got some from a book on Bosworth's that is at the Allen County Public Library in Fort Wayne, IN. The only information I have on her parents are names: Benjamin and Margaret "Unknown" It stops cold there. She is on my list to zero in on this winter. I usually do most of my 'indoor' research when the weather gets cold and my graving in the spring/summer/fall.

Thank you sooooo much for the reminder that I needed to add information to my grandfather's memorial, and for including the copy of his obituary so that I did not have to look it up again.

RE: Harriet Nix Peveler
Thank you for your comment re. the info that I uploaded to Harriet's memorial. My husband is a shirt-tail relative of Harriet's, since Harriet was married to his 3G-uncle, John Peveler. John was the brother of my husband's 2G-grandmother, Lucinda Peveler Terrell (wife of Ed S. Terrell). Therefore, Mike's 3G-grandparents were David Peveler and Sallie McCard, John and Lucinda's parents. (I'm making myself dizzy.)

Does this mean that you, too, are descended from David Peveler? I uploaded memorials to him and Sallie a while ago--they're buried in Long Creek Cemetery, Granbury, Hood Cnty--and linked their memorials to those of almost all of their kids (except Lewis). Please email me if you would like any further information. Sue -
