Transfer of Files
Hi, Jennifer, I'm sorry ... I feel like a pest with all the record changes and additions I've asked you to do. I did a search on your name for the Bateman files that you have, and I believe every single one of them are related to my husband's family in Indiana. We are presently working on his family tree. It would be easier for me if you would transfer them to me so I can complete their information and add their links. I would be most happy to return them to you, if you wish, when I have them completed. Just let me know if that's okay with you. Thanks, Jan Bateman #48996568

Christopher and Clara Nalker
Jennifer, I was able to delete the records I added in error.
If you would like to transfer ownership of both Christopher Nalker and Clara Nalker as well as Alonzo Ragsdale and Baby Liddie Ragsdale, I would be happy to take them.

Thanks,
Linda Cook

Jennifer, I added names of my gr gr grandparents without realizing that you had already recorded them. Do you know how I can delete my entries so that there are not duplicates? I have quite a bit of genealogical information I could share if you are interested. Are you related to them?

Thanks,
Linda Cook

Russ Gunther
Stilwell Cemetery
Wow, hello Jennifer!
the Stilwell Cemetery (glad you took a pic to identify it!)...I cannot even find Pikeville IN on Google maps even zooming in on Pike County, and it seems I had family who lived there.

Interested in hearing what you know about Pikeville since it hasn't been posted anywhere that google could find it!

By the way, my local family names are Eden and Luttrell, if you know or knew any!

I have confirmed graves for 2 family and will post a photo request or reach out to you once I do a little more confirming of others, unless you are close and familiar enough for the names now?

Best wishes,
Russ Gunther #48350514

James Theron Wells
Leroy Henry Harris
How can Leroy Henry Harris be buried in two different places? Henry (#30579286 is listed as being buried with his second wife, Margaret
( ? ) Harris, in Somerville Cemetery in Somerville, Gibson County, Indiana (no headstone). He is listed again (#29826401) as being buried with his first wife, Dortcas Miller Harris, in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown, Pike County, Indiana, and there is a headstone with both of their names on it. Can you help clear up this mystery? Thanks!

Looking for headstone info in Stilwell Cemetery, Pikeville, Pike, Indiana. Catherine Garrett Rhoads,is the wife of Corp. I have been told she is also buried here, but do not show her in the list nor waiting for a photo to be taken. Any info would be great. Thanks

Mary J. Day
I well remember Aunt Alta and Uncle Art Trowbridge. Alta was Grandpa Wilbur Pride's sister, daughter to Great-Grandmother Cynthia (Eskew) Pride. I haven't been able to locate Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa Pride's graves (Samuel "Ott"Otis Pride and Cynthia F. (Eskew) Pride). Cynthia was the daughter of Mary J. Purcell and her first husband, Solomon E. Eskew. I don't know what happened to Solomon - he's rather hard to trace online - but I do know that Mary's second spouse (Cynthia's step-father) was Louis Day.
Do you have any idea where Cynthia and Ott are buried? Mom said she knows the cemetery is in Daviess County, but she doesn't remember the name. I live 6 hours from Pike and Daviess Counties, and I don't get to visit as often as I like. I sure would appreciate any information you could share with me.
Thanks!

Mary E Tolson (Doan)
Mary was born in 1869 and died on 4/5/1888. The obit I found said she was buried in Antioch cemetry, Daviess county Indiana. Her husband was William Tolson. I saw that there are some Doane's in that cemetery, could you see, when you have time, if Mary is nearby? Thank you for any assistance that you can give.

Hi,
Can you tell me how you arrived to the conclusion that Elizabeth Hunsaker born in 1844 was the the wife to Solomon Stilwell??

I have conflicting info that it was Elizabeth Hunsaker born in 1822.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Calhoun-Oak Grove; Burton-Morrison
Jennie, I'm trying to get more information re: James Calhoun d. 1877, bur Oak Grove Cem, Plot I. Also in that plot is "Grandmother" Calhoun who died in 1883.

I am also interested in Eliza Evans Burton who is buried in the Morrison Cem in Pike County. I am interested in proof of her death date. She is no where to be found after the 1870 census.

Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Linda Cook
