Incorrect DOD
My father, Richard Mack Wayman memorial # 18688442 died on February 13, 2005, not 2003 as recorded on this site.

Please make the necessary correction.

Also, why aren't the gravestones pictured for this cemetery instead of the entrance gate?

Thank you

RE: got notice of photo taken
Thanks, Betty, but I found no photo for Margaret (Cool) Harding 118288763. Strange. Anyway, I hope you're well. I had planned to go over your DNA results with you, but time slipped away. Let me know if you want to meet by phone. Thanks.

Ivalea Good Fleming
I discovered Ivalea's maiden name and promptly offered an edit. I spend a lot of time researching people who seem to be having a birthday and will be over 85 years old. Two out of three, on average, turn up not to be with us any more. I found your memorial for Ivalea but just as my EDIT was approved, she passed away. Another person, not finding Ivalea Good Fleming, created a new memorial at #157125673. Normally, I would contact the newer memorial manager and make the appropriate suggestion. However, you need to take a look at the other memorial. It takes three screens to see it all. You need to contact the other manager and work it out. Hope this hasn't been upsetting to you. Thank you for your great work.

Flower Sharing
I found 21 tokens I designed & have not even had an opportunity to post on your flower sharing page. I don't know how anyone even got them. How is someone getting into my scrapbook? Is there any way to stop this?
Thanks for your help,
Nora Ann

Medo Lutheran
Dear Betty, Made a visit to Medo Lutheran and was able to fulfill some of your requests. It was a lot of fun to be out walking a cemetery in Minnesota on December 14. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas.

Thanks, Betty. FYI, you haven't yet accepted my invites to the DNA results. We could get together over the phone sometime, if you like, and I could show you how it all works.

RE: quQuestion about Blue Earth Co cemeteries
My first reaction is, with a name like Cemetery Walker, are you judging me? Do you have a prejudice against disabled veterans? Is one method better than another? Are you jealous or angry that I "invaded" the Blue Earth cemeteries?

But maybe I'm over-reacting, a little sensitive about my disability. I really can't be sure of your tone from a text message. These days, people rarely say please or thank you or good job or can I help you. And some days I'm just tired and cranky. Maybe you're upset, maybe not? I can't tell.

The brief answer to your question is, I'm working from cemetery records.

A more complete answer is, I was working on military records, making sure our vets get a memorial -- so many died young, without descendants, unremembered and unloved -- and often I follow up, through Ancestry and the Internet, and link them up with their parents. After researching several vets in Blue Earth I noticed that their families were also missing. So, I obtained cemetery records, laboriously checking what's been entered and what hasn't; typing up spreadsheets. Honestly shocked so many had not yet been entered.

I realize every cemetery has a problem with some unmarked graves, some vandalized or weathered tombstones, but I have just been overwhelmed with how many memorials needed to be created.

I have been ecstatically pleased to see the Edits come in so quickly, meaning families are finding their relatives! Pictures of the person have been added, photos of tombstones also. I've transferred over a dozen memorials to family members.

Well, you too must have felt that joy, that satisfaction, from the memorials you've created. It's good to help people.

This project has been very exhausting; from making two or three veteran's memorials per day to making a thousand a week from cemetery records; I will be glad when it's done. And it is almost done. Thankfully.

RE: Which cemetery next?
Hi Betty. I noticed at Beuford #1 there were quite a few "Wades" and other "Ws." Perhaps from here we could go to other cemeteries around Beuford.

Another suggestion would be Medo Lutheran -- I believe we got through all in Medo Central. We did drive by Medo Lutheran and it seems there are quite a few graves without photos.

Hope you had a good summer.

William Price
My name is Karen (Salsman) Martin. A William Price was my third great grandfather in MO. He was married twice but one wife is unknown. Do you have any additional information on this William Price? Thank you for your time. I am on Ancestry also.

RE: Medo Central Cemetery
Your welcome. I don't live near there but visit relatives there of and on and will try and get more photos next time I'm in the area if needed.

I'm going to send you a couple of SAC's regarding a few of the memorials at Medo Central.

I also went to Bunker Hill trying to find your request there with no luck.

Johnny Leslie Thul
Betty, I had a relative contact me by e-mail to give more information on a memorial you created for Johnny Leslie Thul, in the St. Matthews (Vernon Center) Cemetery. The Thul stone that is posted on the site is for Johnny's grandparents. Johnny did not have the last name "Thul." He was Johnny Leslie. Could the name change on the memorial be made?

RE: Are these the same person?
I'm not really sure!?
It's not a relative of mine, I must have had an old obituary and went from that.
I'd just delete mine, since the other has some links with it... but someone uploaded a photo to mine... The creator of the other one might now... perhaps they could be merged?

Let's finish St. Matthews. Also, you've done some work already on Jackson Lake. Let's work with that cemetery and perhaps any others in the Amboy community.

RE: Mary Gardner- Saint Mathew's Cem
Thanks for looking at the details, Betty. I must have been sleepy when I was entering the data. There was another photo near hers that had the other dates. Just finished entering photos for St. Matthews -- snow finally disappeared. There are two names we couldn't find stones for.

Got another cemetery in Blue Earth?
