Thanks

RE: Mary Polly Puscochummy
A cousin of mine Sue Bruton took pictures of all the tombstones, only 2 or 3 did not have stones, and their names are accounted for. There is no record of Thomas Green Leatherman being buried there, but you never know.

These families are so intertwined, it's unbelievable. I found Sarah Norman years ago in the Norman Valley Cemetery, but could find no one else. It turns out some of the wrong people were listed in this graveyard, and after it was corrected a few more years later, part of it came together.

Funniest thing I cane across was when my cousin let me know that Sarah Norman was our step Grandmother, about a week ago, I almost cried, I just was not ready for this. Then a couple of days later, I find out from her husband, that she is our real Grandmother, but she was married to Samuel Chance first, when he died she married Yewen Norman, so she is my 3rd Grt. Grandmother anyway, and my Grt. step Grandmother also, what a kick.

I am related to the Huffman's, but my Grt 3rd Aunt I believe was married to Alexander Wiseman Huffman, Sarah Elizabeth Norman, daughter of Yewen Norman, my 3rd Grt Grandfather.

Sue Bruton, and her husband have really found out a lot about our family, and they are going rto take charge in cleaning up the Norman Valley Cem. on their own. This really makes me happy, and I wish I could be there when it happens.

If I were you I would ask Sue if you could have your family transfered to you, those in the Norman Valley.

OK, I'll shut up now LOL Thanks again. Pat

Mary Polly Puscochummy
Karin thank you for the message due to Mary Polly, I have asked the person who maintains Mary Polly's grave-site if we could link them. I would consider it a great honor.

I wanted to ask you about the Leatherman sername, in what way are you related? I am trying along with my cousins to get families for all those buried at Norman Valley Cem., and find out if we are related to them. Many thanks Pat

Oh, Ok, the photo looks like a stone that's over grown. So guess they won't be able to clean it off. Thank you. I didn't realize she didn't have a stone. Thanks again.

Karin,

A burial location is needed to fill your photo request. The Restland office now provides locations ONLY to family members. Please call them at (972) 238-7111 and they will be glad to help you. Normally they will look up the location while you wait.

I (or another volunteer) will be honored to fulfill your request, typically within a day or two. If you created the memorial and prefer to edit the memorial to show the plot location, that would be fine as I check the Restland photo requests regularly as do other volunteers.

Thanks for your assistance.

John

Chester Cagle
I just wanted to let you know that there is no headstone for Chester Cagle as of 9-14-13. He rests to the right of Roy Cagle and the grave is marked only with a white cross.

Sincerely,
sstarr

Norma Kimsey photo request
Hi, the volunteers would be happy to fill your photo request however we will need a burial location to do so.
Can you please contact Laurel Land and get a burial location for your request? The number is 214 371 1336

or the email link is:
http://www.laurellanddallas.com/home/contact_us.html

There are over 391 photo requests currently and the volunteers cannot ask for that many locations to fill requests. With a location, your request will get filled pretty quickly. Thanks for your help!

RE: Hennington
No problem, Karin. I have a photo of the front of this monument also. It lists James R Hennington and his wife, Belzora E Taylor Hennington and their children. Let me know the best way to get that to you.

Addie Touchy & Maude Hancock @ Forest Park
I see you added a picture request for Addie Touchy & Maude Hancock @ Forest Park Cemetery in Houston. If you would call the cemetery at 713-928-5141 and get a "SECTION" and "LOT" I will try to get the picture you want. This is a very large (225+) acre cemetery and without a location would be very hard to find.

Thank you,

JFH
Mary Henington
We confirmed with Restland that Mary Henington was buried in Section X, Babyland, Lot I, Space 42. Today, I walked that entire Babyland area and, while I did see a handful of markers (some from 1943/1944), there were far fewer markers than spaces. With me being the third member of our group to search that area, we must conclude that there was never a marker or the marker is buried/removed. Looking closely, it did not appear to be buried. I would suspect there was never a marker as I wonder about the shortage of metals during WWII, again since there are so few markers. To fulfill the request, I have posted a photo of the area and Space 42 is the shade portion. The photo is looking east across Babyland. I'm sorry we could not be of more help.
