RE: Re: Georgia Howard Raymond
Hi Gerry.. I was not able to get any information from the cemetery. When Georgia was about 1 yr. her mother married Mr. Vanderwhite, so I believe she used that name until she married. Georgia's father either died about 1889 or was divorced from her mother rather quickly after marriage. I'll keep trying !
thanks. Mary

Hi Gerry.
Couldn't reach the cemetery on the phone but I will email today. I do believe Howard is the correct maiden name, but do not know Georgia's father's first name. When I have an answer I'll drop a note. thanks for your help. Mary

Ann Armeson memorial
Hello Gerry,

Just a note to thank you for creating a memorial for my aunt, Ann Armeson. I've sent you a few edits to add to her memorial.
She was a wonderful woman!
The photos are appreciated as well. I'm on the east coast & it would be difficult to get out there to see her. I would not even know where to begin to look if not for your memorial.

Your excellent work on this site is very much appreciated!!!

All my best,

RE: Photo Thanks
I would be Charles Gregory's Great-Granddaughter. The family really never knew him, he deserted them when his children were very young. I'm not sure what the process is for claiming remains, but I will be contacting the cemetery. Thank you again.

William H Spurr, 65243494
Hi, Geraldine. I have found the will of Sarah Elizabeth Higgins, and in it she directs her daughters to purchase a plain stone for herself and also for her grandson, Willie. So now we know that William H Spurr is the grandson of Sarah E Spurr, not her son, but I still have not found the names of his parents. Her son, Robert Logan Spurr was only about twelve years old when Willie was born. I will continue to work on this mystery. Regards, Diane

Hi, Gerry. I see that you would like to transfer William's memorial to a family member. William P Spurr and his wife Sarah Elizabeth Higgins are my 3rd great uncle and aunt. I would be happy to take this memorial. Thank you for the work you are doing. Regards, Diane

Contact needed for Connie
I notice you are listed as a friend of Connie #47390019. I would like to contact her, but her messages are not open. She sent me the names of my ex father-in-law's parents in Austria that I didn't know about and would like to find out how and where she got the info on them. If you could pass on this message and ask her to contact me at I would be most thankful.

Lilburn Tadlock
I completed your photo request for Lilburn Tadlock. She is with her husband Norman Tadlock. There was no memorial for Norman so I created one and transferred it to you.

Really would like to hear from you
Hi Geraldine,

I am in search of more information and connections for my family tree project. I saw your profile on Connie's profile but i cannot message her. this is on the find a grave site. She has Charles R smith and you have Clyde Paul Smith. I believe this is the Charles that is my grandmas brother and Clyde is one of his sons. i have names but dates are difficult to match unless i can get there spouse. i have newspaper clippings for Charles parents only. I was wondering if we can connect and maybe share information we might not have for each other.

My grandmothers name is Olive Marie Robinson Petersen married to Carl A Petersen, which he just turned 97 and still lives at there house in Sebastopol. i just came back from a visit. I am a member of My heritage and working on my grandma's side which is difficult cause Smith and Robinson names are to common. Hope to her from you.

Please let me know.

Gerry, I've looked for this little grave and can find nothing. I know the dates don't add up, but did Genevieve die in childbirth? If she did, it's possible Sandra was buried with her mother. It is also possible she was buried near the family home. That seems to be very common in our county history. SOrry I can't offer you better news. Valarie

Can you please transfer my Gillooly/Gillooley
Gillula/Gilula/Gillulah /Gilhula/Gilhuly/Gilhuley
Gillhuly/Gillhuley/Gilhooly/Gilhooley/Gillhooley families 2 me.

Many of my family that was forced out of Ireland and emigrated were separated and had changed to the spellings of their names. some were British Gun Runners, some were trying to make it out alive from the Potato Blight and keep their families alive.

Maria Claire Serao and J Manning Johnson
Thanks so much for the info on these two! J Manning was the son of my great grandfather's sister Matilda and it was so nice to find J Manning especially even though I didn't know them it's nice to have some closure on this branch of the family as I'd searched for quite a long time to find out what happened to Manning. Happy New Year!
