RE: John Wesley Evans
Hi Lorraine,
So glad my info was helpful to your family history. I added some other info from a little bit of research I did on this family. It's now posted on John's memorial page. Thank you for the info on the first wife Mary Summers.

Hi Lorraine,
Other than the one census that has Aaron as a nephew to Dorothea, there has been no further clues. I am hoping to get down to Dakota county historical society someday and check on obits on all the Hamanns again.
We have been all well here. Hoping you kids are doing well too.
Take care,
Walt

RE: Nuckols Nuckles - Erle
Hi again,

Well I just figured out how to reply, instead of starting a new msg. I think I just added you as a Find A Grave friend, too. I don't understand what you added me to, though. Please explain, or maybe I should just call you now -- especially because I just found Joseph Grant "Knuckles," listed in a Mason County WV birth register, stating he was born 23 April 1865 & that his mom & dad were George & Mary Knuckles -- not Wm. & Elizabeth. This same page lists my Grandpa, Frank Nuckles, as being born to Wm & Elizabeth in 1884, but on Oct 19, instead of Feb 22, like he always claimed...I think this register is screwed up. Here's the link to the page: http://www.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view2.aspx?FilmNumber=567388&ImageNumber=90

ERLE & NUCKLES
Hi Lorraine,

I just joined Find A Grave (Find A Grave) because I found a link to your post re: Elizabeth Erle (EE). I'm not sure which Elizabeth Erle was my G Grandma & which William Nuckles (WN) is my G Grandpa; but it sounds like you, or another Find A Grave member might be able to help

My Grandfather was Francis Preston Nuckles (Senior)& he was the son of EE & WN. Grandpa FPN, Sr. is buried in a Parkersburg, WV cemetery & there's a note on his Find A Grave page saying WN & EE are his parents. His gravestone (& Find A Grave pg.) lists him as Frank P. Nuckles, Sr., though, & he's buried in what is now called Parkersburg Memorial Gardens

Thanks for any info you can provide

Lorraine, I am not sure which memorial you are referring to. The Abel Alden whose memorial I manage is correctly linked to his wife. Perhaps you can provide a memorial number? Thanks, Jim

RE: Martha Elizabeth Herdman Nuckles Grimm
No, I don't recognize any of those surnames except for Herdman. That's my husband's family, of course, but they are mostly located around Adams County, OH.

Thanks,
Natalie

RE: Hamann's
Hi Kid, the only thing I found to connect the families so far was the census that shows Aaron as a nephew to Dorothea. Other than that, none of the obits I have seen contain nothing. BLM/GLO has Henry C. selling his farm to Henry H,.
Do you have the information of John Hamann that can connect anything? Before moving to Randolph and then Castle rock, John lived in New Market township directly across the road from the farm in Webster township that H.H. had.

Okay, I'm happy to transfer Hepzibah Ford Lyman Marsh, but what about 'my' Richard Lyman 2nd? I'm still not clear.

Richard Lyman 2nd
Hi, Lorraine. Thanks for writing to me.

I am a little confused about what you have asked me to do. I don't administer Richard Lyman 1st's memorial. Linda Mac does.

I am happy to transfer Richard Lyman 2nd's memorial (#48988141) to you because you have obviously done a lot more research on this family than I have. I've been newly promoted at work and don't have the time to spend on them right now. Is that what you want?

You should probably know that Linda Mac also has a memorial for Richard Lyman 2nd (1613-bef1617) (created after mine), but I think it's a first child who didn't survive very long before 'our' Richard Lyman 2nd (1617-1662) was born. You might want to liaise with her on that to sort them all out.

Do you also want a transfer of the memorial for Hepzibah Ford Lyman Marsh (#48988076)?

Regards, Mary Jo

Daniel Bradley FAG#79860819
Hi Lorraine thank you for writing to me. My Daniel Bradley B 1750 Ireland that i have added to Find A Grave. If you are on Ancestry, com you can see my cousins tree that has all the Bradley information his name is John Edward Razor. The Daniel Bradley he has on the tree is almost the same as what i have but he said that Daniel; American Revolution Military
Captain of 2nd Co. 9th Battalion under Lt. Colonel John Rogers in the Lancaster Co Militia at least during the years of 1780-1782. I Can not find any information on Daniel Bradley in Dauphin Co Pa. Someone has suppose to have found land warrants for Daniel Can't find them, can't find any censuses for him in Pa. he was suppose to be a represantive for Dauphin Co pa at assembly to form states after the American Rev. Daniel had 4 children born in Va. 2 children born in Pa Daniel II b 1779 and Hannah b 1781 Pa rest of his children were born in Ky. Also they said that Daniel had 4 slaves in 1790 Peter,Dinah,Ephraim, and Nance. 3 males enslaved until 28 years of age and by law they were emancipated can't find anything on them Nance was a slave for life. Thank you for trying to help me find any information. Patty#47517041.

I would try to get Stephen's obituary. It may name his parents or surviving siblings. You may locate his parents through his siblings' families.

RE: Elizabeth Morey McCoy Hagerman
Sorry I don't have a record on who Alexander McCoy was married to first. A marriage record might be your best shot. The other possibility if you found the death certificate for one of Alex's children and they listed the correct mother on it.

Elizabeth Morey McCoy Hagerman
Hi there

Elizabeth was a four great grandmother for me as well. It is my understanding that the McCoy's were step children for Elizabeth that she helped raise. Elizabeth married Alexander McCoy in 1821 and then married Peter Hagerman in 1825. She had been married Nathaniel Morey first. It is my understanding the McCoy children remained in her household and she raised them. If any of the McCoy's were biological children of hers I would like to find out.

thanks
