I found the pictures that I was talking about. They are kind of poor quality, but I will upload them later today.

# 9281900 Nellie Jares
Sandra,

You photographed Nellie Jares's (9281900)headstone in Calvary Cemetery in Erie a while back. I am looking for her husband's stone and was wondering if he was buried with her. His name was Leo Jares (Jaroszewski originally). I know you post a LOT of photos, but thought it would be worth asking. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer. Sincerely, Laura Zamperini

Doerrlers in Trinity Cemetery, Erie PA
Just curious if you are related, Sandra?
I found a newspaper item linking Philip Doerrler of Erie as brother of Peter Dorler of Dunkirk, NY (and probably Franz/Frank, too) Have more information on Dunkirk families if anyone is interested. All are on findagrave, search Dorler in Chautauqua County, NY.

RE: James and Roberta Evans
I have confirmed with a family member of Mary Jo that James did indeed marry two Bittinger sisters. I see that you have corrected it, thank you so much! Regards, Rebecca

RE: James and Roberta Evans
I could not find any marriage records to figure out if it was Roberta Allen or Roberta Bittinger.

James and Roberta Evans
I'm fairly positive with having done research on Roberta (65424390) that her maiden name is actually Bittinger. I'm not sure what information you had found that said her maiden name was Allen, and if you had found documents I would be interested in seeing it. It seems from his second wife's obit, Mary Jo, that her sister Roberta married an Evans and there's many, many similarities that point to Roberta Bittinger as his first wife and after she died he married her sister. Regards, Rebecca

RE: Cavalry Cemetery, Erie - search for aunt/uncle's graves
Interesting. The marker I remember (for both babies) is similar to our cousin John E. Kelley (the one I mentioned in my last message) with the baby lying in repose with the name and date (or baby boy and baby girl in this case and without the twin notation) and they were both in Cavalry as the last time I was in Erie - which was admittedly more than five years ago - I found all three graves fairly quickly once I got to the children's section (and I know what you mean about it being overgrown). And interesting that the Kloecker funeral home marker is on that - although they would have certainly handled the funeral as they are owned by family - which seems like it was a temporary marker only since you don't usually see the funeral home's name so prominent on a grave marker. Strange. Thank you for what you've been able to tell me. I appreciate it.

Cavalry Cemetery, Erie - search for aunt/uncle's graves
Sandra, I notice that you have done a lot of work on Find-a-Grave for Cavalry Cemetery in Erie. I am looking for two graves for my dad's brother and sister. I know the graves are in the infants/childrens section of the cemetery and are labeled Baby Boy Mallon (25 Jan 1957 is the date) and Baby Girl Mallon (28 May 1958 is the date). I have seen the graves in the past and used to have pictures of them which I can't find. I believe one of the graves is fairly close to our cousin John E Kelley (b/d 21 Dec 1960 - my dad's mother and John Kelley's mothers were sisters), which is already listed in Find-a-Grave (memorial #92159222 which was added by you). I would appreciate any help you can give me in locating the graves and pictures of them.

Just a note to see if you have a grave stone photo for Mary. A grave stone photo of her husband is on her memorial - 9530240. If not, that is ok. Thank you, Kathy

Michael Gilhooly
Michael was 91 when he died.
I am from the Gilhooly family
I have over 70 Michael Gilhooly/Gilhooley tied to my family.

My ggg grandfather Michael Gilhooley from Leitrim and Roscommon Ireland his families were all separated during immigration.
Michaels 16 siblings all left Ireland and some went on to Scotland Glasgow, Blairgowrie, Perthsire, to London, England, some France and Germany and Canada. Many emigrated into the United States Chicago, Illinois, Florida, Boston, Connecticut, new Hampshire, Philadelphia, New York, Jersey, New England, Maryland, Illinois, Missouri, Boston. Many of the families had changes in their spellings
Gilhooly/Gilhooley
Gillhooly/Gillhooley
Gilhuly/Gilhuley
Gillhuly/Gillhuley
Gilhouly/Gilhouley
Gilluly/Gilluley
Gilooly/Gilooley/
and Gillooly/Gillooley hence how I got my spelling.

My ggg grandfather Michael was one of 16 kids. He had 15 of his own kids they all kids. My gggg grandfather Peter had 14 or 15 brothers.

There should be well over 250 of our descendants.
My ggg grandfather Michael had a brother Michael and a son Michael and a grandson Michael and a nephew Michael
