I'll see what I can dig up for you. Embreeville is only 5 miles from my house - 1 firehouse and 3 churches - flash and you miss it.

You are welcome - It took awhile to find her - the survey data on the internet is incorrect. A more resent survey properly identifies the location. That survey has not been published yet. Her husband was not found.

Michael, I have transferred her memorial to you after I made the family links and ate entries. I am not related. I was just photographing headstones in that cemetery.

RE: Richard Taliaferro Broyles.
Correct. The birth date that you sent me for him in your original email is not 16 months before his headstone's death date. I changed the birth date on the memorial on your recommendation and it does appear to be incorrect. I have changed it back to the way I originally had it, simply the year 1830. Tim

RE: Richard Taliaferro Broyles.
On Find A Grave memorial #67903046, Richard Taliaferro Broyles, is a photo of the headstone with the death date of 8 Apr 1831. The stone also specifies his age as 16 months, but doesn't give a birth date. This is the memorial that you sent me the original message about, so I guess we're talking about the same person. Unless the birth date you have is for someone else, I don't know what to tell you.... Thanks, Tim.

Richard Taliaferro Broyles.
Memorial Number 67903046. Richard Taliaferro Broyles.

According to his headstone, he died on 8 Apr 1831 and was 16 months old. This doesn't square with the birthdate you emailed me. Your thoughts on the dates?

Hello. Made the changes you sent but wanted to double check on the year. Her headstone has 1834 as her birth year which is really off from the year you gave me. Should I put your year as a note on her memorial?

Hi Michael,

Your memorial for Irvin/Irven Watkins who is buried in Westland Cemetery in Logan County, Ohio, is part of my Watkins line. I was hoping you could link his parents, William H. Watkins #65079355 and Matilda (Baldwin) Watkins #18787688, to his memorial.

Thank you.

Pickle graves at Pickens Family Cmty
To Michael Pickle,
Sorry for the short delay in answering your note. I was not sure how to contact you directly and did not want to leave a public message on Findagrave. It looks like this web-site does the same thing, though. Please contact me directly at my e-mail address: GIBBY.8989@HOTMAIL.COM

I think I can probably get you in contact with a very good source who knows much about the Pickens Cemetery interments. Perhaps the two of you can share some good info.

Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards,
Green H Giebner

RE: Broyles in Sumach Cumberland
I don't know who added Cenotaph as a persons name but there is a memorial page listed that way. I wonder if both Marcellus and Walter are still buried in their original burial places or were they moved to this cemetery to be with their mother. On the site for Walter it says he was moved but I don't know what the reference was for that information. The Cenotaph may have been placed there first and then they may have been moved after it's placement. Thank you for your help. Candace Smith

Broyles in Sumach Cumberland
I am a little confused by the Broyles graves in Sumach Cumberalnd Cemetery. someone added a name Centotaph Broyles, but a centotaph is a memorial stone but no body is buried there. I can see from you photo of the stone for Marcellus Broyles the word centotaph...I am not sure he is buried here or not. Are there any other names on this marker? There is a grave for Walter Long Broyles who was in the civil war and died in Virginia, He was buried in Lynchburg and according to findagrave, later moved to Sumach. Can you help with any more info from stones there. Thanks.. C J Smith

Greenlawn Cemetery
Michael, I'm curious about your photograph of the Greenlawn Cemetery sign. Is this the cemetery located on County Rd. 142, south of W. Mansfield?
There is another cemetery listed in the index
(Green Lawn Cemetery) which is also located in Logan County and I'm not sure which one is which--or if they're both the same place.
Thanks,
Bill B.
