I just transferred ownership of the page for Antonio Lopez to you.
Please let me know if you'd also like to create/maintain pages for Albert W. Lopez (1914-1985) and Mary E. Lopez (1924-2000). They are buried in Belmont Cemetery in Belmont, Mass. I have a photo of the stone.

|Kathy B||Ethel V. Stewart Ross|
Kevin, A long time ago you asked me if I knew my Aunt Ethel's middle name. Her vital records only had the middle initial V. I recently looked her up on the 1940 Census and it says her middle name is Virginia.

|Eddie Kennedy||Stewart Family Photos|
My name is Eddie Kennedy. My late mother, Elizabeth (Latimer) Kennedy, discovered in early 1980s that her birth father was Robert D. Stewart Jr. She was born out of wedlock on January 10, 1925, in Boston, MA and as part of getting her original birth certificate, discovered her true father's identity as she was adopted and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. I remember in the early 1980s, visits from, whom my mother described as Aunt Marion, (Marion Stewart Banian). Shortly after my mother had discovered who her birth father was and had made some connections with the Stewart family. Recently, while going through my mother's belongings, I discovered a box of photos from the early 1900s, titled Stewart Family Photos. Some of these are individual photos and other are family photos on both tin plates and regular photos. Unfortunately, very few of the photos are labelled with the idenfication of who the individuals in the photos actually are. If there are any Stewart descendants who think they may be able to help identify the people in the photos, and would possibly like copies of photos for their own family photo collections as well, I would appreciate you contacting me and assisting me in this endeavour. If you reply throught this message here, perhaps we can exchange email addresses and talk further on this subject at a future date. Thanks, Eddie Kennedy

Thanks for the correction, Kevin! If I was thinking that day I posted the photo, I would have noticed.
Do you have any connection to Mrs. Moran?

I think Arnold's memorial is fine the way it is. The important thing is that Arnold is linked with my Ross Family members in Dedham.

Hi Kevin, I came accross a nice photo of my Uncle Arnold & Aunt Ethel recently. I added it to Ethel's memorial page. It looks like it was taken in the 1950's in their neighborhood in Natick.

"Phthisis" was also a diagnosis that referred to a general wasting away of the body, and is most often thought to be consumption or pulmonary tuberculosis, although it could also be an indication of cancer or any number of other diseases. This 19th-century terminology sure leaves plenty of room for conjecture.

Kevin, Consumption is the old-fashioned term for Tuberculosis, not cancer.

Kevin, When I'm not able to scan a photo (because it's framed or in an album or newspaper), I take a picture of it with my camera and I get a decent copy that way. My camera takes good closeup shots in low light without a flash. I do it on a bright sunny day indoors near a window. I've done it with a framed photo where I couldn't remove the glass. Just try shooting (with the photo on a flat surface)from different angles to avoid the glare of the light on the glass or glossy finish. That might work on your grandfather's photos.

Hi Kevin, I added photos of Ethel (Stewart) Ross and Arnold Ross to their memorial pages. These are the only photos of them I've come across. I took them in 1988 at my Uncle Arnold's 80th birthday party.
