William Bigler
I'm only writing to let you know that there are descendants of Gov. Wm. Bigler & his brother John. I had 2 brothers named after the Biglers, Jeffrey Bigler Good 1st and Jeffrey Bigler Good II. They are both deceased and rest in Fairview Cemetary, Cambridge County, PA. My father was the son of Ralph & Marion good. Ralph was probably Wm. or John's grandson. As I get older, I get more interested.
Good day,
Christopher Good

Re Brig Gen Absolam Madden West
This is a correction to my comment below in that I should have addressed it to Mr. Stanza for linking his site to this memorial with the comment about Abraham Lincoln. I'm sure you didn't mean any harm or think of it from the Southern point of view, but I would really appreciate it if you could delete the link or the comment out of respect for the deceased.

Thankyou very much

Re. Brig.Gen. Absolam Madden West
Dear commentors:

This noteworthy gentleman is one of my ancestors, which gives me the right to say that your comments about Abraham Lincoln on his memorial site are inappropriate, insensitive, and discourteous.. After all, he was a Confederate General

I have a question about your photo. I was there today and took photos as well, but the large family marker looks to me like it has been moved? I can send you my picture so you can see the difference in yours vs. mine. Other large stones are there too but they look out of place too like they were moved as well. famous people stones.please let me know if you know of this being done? doesn't look like the actual graves were moved though..It doesn't seem right to me!I've taken pics at this cemetery many times in the past and my ancestors are buried there too.. thanks! Andrea

Your email address appears to be broken so I'm leaving a message here.

Thanks for contributing photos to Find A Grave. You don't have any copyright information in your profile there, so I am wondering if it is ok for me to copy your photos to my family tree? I use for the online version, and it is set to keep the information private for site non-members.

arthur wayne march
Arthur March had a wife, Zipora ( possibly spelled Tzipora) who "accidently" drowned in the bathtub 10-30-1970. This was a few days after the suicide/murder of my parents, who lived across the street from the March family in East Chicago Indiana. There were rumors that my father had an affair with Mrs. March. Have you any knowledge of her death? I have only recently found out about Arthur March and his son's case and am wondering if Mrs. March's death was indeed an accident or not? I have been trying to locate the obituary, but have not found it online. Any info would be appreciated!

Welles family grave pics
The same grave pics you posted to the page for Mary Jane Hale Welles (13680039), would you mind also posting to the pages of her children: Anna (13680050), Samuel (13680044), Edward (13680047), Herbert (13680049) & Mary Juanita (13680051)? I'd very much appreciate that. :)

Photo request for Allegheny Cemetery
For photo requests for Allegheny Cemetery:

In Pittsburgh, the season for taking photos coincides with the busiest season for the cemeteries - March through October. We have been working closely with local cemeteries, and now have the overall map for Allegheny Cemetery. While in their busy season, the cemeteries are understandably reluctant to look up a location unless it is a family member, and Allegheny has a backlog of 37 requests dating as far back as 2006. If you can contact them for locations for your photo requests, e-mail me directly. We will be happy to get your photos.
