Thanks for the info. She is my great-aunt. :)

I know, that is what is so strange. If Andrew had passed away, maybe the older Cooksey children would have stayed with Cooksey family in Ark., but it makes me wonder why the little one didn't accompany Clarissa to Denton Co, Tx...maybe there was a flu virus that killed her child. I just am not sure. If you ever find a clue to this mystery, please let me know.
Again, thank you, Teresa

Thank you Betty for the info. I am fairly new to research, so I am wondering why you think Clarissa Cooksey is Elijah's aunt and not his mother? Where would I look for Andrew and Clarissa's marriage certificate? Also, in the Denton Co, Tx. census, it lists the Bays children, but none of the Cooksey children...very strange! Again, thank you, Teresa

Hi Betty, I am researching my Bays family. You are managing Elijah Bays in Chinn Cemetery, so I am wondering if you are related? Any info might be able to help me in my search for the parents of Elijah and Joseph Bays. Thank you, Teresa

Betty, if this is your relative I'll be glad to transfer to you. I found this rural cemetery and was intrigued by it. I am not related to any in this cemetery.

|Soul Seekers||Henry Raymond Shockey|
Thank you for the info on the marriages of Henry. I had the names of his two spouses and their children but no information on either of them. After some researching I was fortunate in finding all the information on his 1st wife Alma Delores Cotner. They were divorced and she remarried Marvin James Graham. According to the information I found his 2nd wife Frances Janet Averitt was born 4/17/1934 and is still living. Again thanks for inspiring me to do some more research on Henry. He was my 2nd cousin.

You created and currently manage a number of children and interrelated family of parents that I manage. I believe in the past I provided you with some minor details regarding them for better identification. I have now been asked by fellow descendants if I would combine the memorials into a single and interrelated family group and continue the Find A Grave outline of them. I can send you individual SAGs, but could also send to your email address a single Word document with all of the memorial links. Which would you prefer? Thank you.

|Sandra O||RE: Infant Sublett|
Thanks for the info, Betty. Apparently no one else in the family was aware of this because my primary source was Robert A. Elliott, Sr.'s granddau.-in-law. She never mentioned this first wife. I will add it to the family genealogy.

You indicate that a Merritt was the possible mother of this Sublett infant. I do not show any other wife for John Sublett, except Lydia A. C. Elliott. Do you have any records to show this info? It would help me in my research on this family. Lydia is a distant cousin of mine in my Elliott family.

Thanks for the updates to Myra's memorial. I went to photograph her marker last month but couldn't find one, and since I was at the funeral, I know where it should be. I'll check with my cousin Bill to see if he's put one up, yet. Thanks.
