Thanks for replying. Just because a deceased person has two stones doesn't constitute trying to justify posting two memorials for that person who is buried in only the one place in the one cemetery. Both tombstone photographs can be posted on one memorial.

Pamela Messenger Shaw
There is a Shaw family history book at the Genealogy Library in Mt Gilead, Ohio. "Descendants of John and Susannah Shaw 1694-1987, compiled by Jesse & Janet Shaw, Fall - 1987" On page 26, John and Pamela are mentioned along with their children. It gives "Pamelia" born 10 Apr 1807, in Connecticut, and died 25 Mar 1865, in Morrow County, Ohio. "Pamelia was a school teacher in Delaware County, Ohio" Page 27 has photos of John, Pamelia and their house. I photocopied these two pages and can send them to you if you wish. Another note is there was a Messenger tombstone in Shawtown Cemetery, it seemed like the dates where after Pamela died though.

RE: Pamelia Messenger Shaw
You did not give a memorial number or cemetery and the name Pamelia Messenger Shaw does not come up in Find A Grave, so I have no idea who you are asking about. Sorry.

RE: Augusta Pratt
One thing to remember when reading documents, especially death records. They are filled out by someone who may not know the details very well. I have the birth record for Augusta Pratt. Notice in the obituary on the memorial, it states her sister was Minnie Abitz in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is a fact, and you can trace her family through my online links for family in I also have all birth records for Augusta's siblings. Her father, Johann Riese was my great-great grandfather.

RE: Hope Evans Jackman

I sometimes forget to include first husbands name. According to her obituary-she was buried here. Her first marriage was to Charles Osborne and they have/had nine kids. Does this help?
