Hagan's in Evergreen Cemetary
Hi Duke!

I have been working on my Hanagan family, and discovered John W. Hagan's headstone on line #7906110 in San Gabriel Cemetery in CA. He is the son of James & Rachel (Porter) Hagan of Houlton, and the husband of Fannie C. Hanagan (her marriage certificate spelled it "Hannigan")

I would be interested to find David Hanagan and Lydia Trask (Putnam) Hanagan (1822-1904), of Houlton. They are buried in Evergreen too. but I don't know if they have a headstone. Are you still working on this cemetery?

Thanks for all the work you have done! You have already put many of my Houlton ancestors headstones on line!

Dear Duke,

Thank you so very much for this transfer. I very much appreciate your help in helping me connect family with family.

Sorry it's been so long since I got back to you - WORK and the FLU got in my way.

Thank for all the work you do. I have run across other direct family members and will get to you with them as soon as I can. Hope this will be OK with you.

Thanks again.

RE: William M. Boone
Thank you for that link, The birth date for William M Boone is Dec 6 1873 - Death:Feb 27 1914

The person in my family is William H Boone his nickname was "Melburn", he is born abt. 1874, married to Emma Currie and died before 1920. He worked as a Brake man for the Rail Road. Emma would have filed the Original Death record.
They have only one son.

William H Boone was orphaned at a young age and lived with the Dykeman's in York Co., NB. His marriage record shows his father is William Boone and mother as Clara. Looking his parents up I find their wedding announcement in the NB Archives and she is Clarissa E Allen. I find them in the 1881 census in York Co., NB., together with their two sons William H Boone-age 7 and Harry Boone-age 5.

I've added the link between Louisa and her mother. Do you know if her father is in Cedar Grove also, or is buried somewhere else? Also, if she is a family member of yours let me know if you would like a transfer.

Many thanks for the information on this - I've updated the record thusly. Findagrave doesn't seem to recognize Branchburg as its own city, so I've put it as Branchburg Park, which is inside of Branchburg proper.

Was she your aunt? She almost married my uncle James Muir who died in WW2. I was in contact with Jean until my mother died in 2003...Jean lived near Charlottesville, VA then but I've lost track of her and cannot remember her new married name. If she's still living I would like to re-establish contact.

I've created a new memorial page, but don't know how to move the photos of the gravestone and I don't believe I have them on my computer anymore.

Correction
Hespie last name is Estey
You have the parents right but their last names are also Estey. Hespie first married Ernest Jewell Rafford and had two children. Her marriage to Hardy states her last name is Rafford so they put that name for her parients. I am trying to find more information on the Raffords.

St. Mary's Cemetery- Houlton
Hi Duke,

I am so happy to see the graves you've documented in St. Mary's Cemetery in Houlton. I have not been able to find the time to do this, and it really needed doing. Were you able to get the entire cemetery photographed? I can probably fill in the gaps if you didn't. Thanks so much!
