John Colwell
I got John's gravestone photo, and his wife's Lydia Lowman, plus all the other Colwell's that were in that immediate area. Next trip back I will try and get the rest.

RE: Richard Spragg
Glad to be of help. Sadly with all the trees that were toppled by Hurricane Sandy it was certainly an adventure to get these photos taken. I placed a request for information about who is in the Dickinson Family plot. I would very much appreciate the obituary about Charles Dickinson that you mentioned before. We care for the people here at Maple Grove and would very much like to document their story in our archives. Please help us!
Thank you

Arke Leverich
I went to Riverside Cemetery today to fulfill your photo request. I wrote below the photo I uploaded and explained that there is no stone for Arke. According to the Riverside Cemetery book he is buried with James and Margaret Leverich. If you want me to remove the photo just let me know and I will.

RE: Nathalie Whitlock photo request
Jayson, I happened to run across Nathalie Whitlock's grave today while looking for another in the same place. I'll email the full size photos to you after uploading the resized ones.

RE: Kirk Leverich
I took separate photos of Kirk's sister and mother's graves - if you want to create memorials for them, I will post those photos for them.

Nathalie Whitlock photo request
I see you have a photo request at Garden of Memories in Metairie. The cemetery's fairly large and there are currently 63 requests for photos. If you can call the cemetery and find out which section your person is in, I'll be happy to try to locate the grave and take a photo for you. The phone number of the cemetery office is 504- 833-3786.

RE: McMurdy
This seems to confirm the cemetery records. Mary McMurdy sold the plots in 1910 after Robert McMurdy's death. The photo that I sent you, (Robert)is the only McMurdy that is buried there. (According to cemetery records).

I have also added the 4 small marker's, yes I am sure they are related. It appears to be father mother and 2 sisters, but that is my guess by dates of birth.

Claude Villars
I am posting the Villars tomb in St.Louis #1 cemetery. Eventhough his name is not on the enclosure tablet, I did find his interment record. It put his interment in the Villars tomb second alley to the left, between the Dupaty and Ursin Durel tombs.

RE: Mary Louise Knapp Cruger
Thanks very much for the info. RE: Ellen Lynch, Ellen Durning's mother, I had her given name and surname from a family remembrance but this now confirms it. (There's an Ellen Lynch, about right age, in Saugerties in 1870: father Michael, 45. Who knows?) Are you related to the Knapps, Crugers, etc.? Best....gc

RE: Mary Louise Knapp Cruger
Thanks, I didn't have that. I've used the Field Library's obituary service many times. Mary Louise's must be a relatively recent addition. Did you happen to transcribe it or make a copy that you could send me? If not, I'll get from the library. Thanks....gc (

RE: Oakdale Cemetery
As we recall, this stone is in the same general area as Nathan and William, but not right next to each other. We took 3 pictures inbetween Smith and Leverich. Also, the other 2 Leverich headstones were in a different area of the Cemetery. Hope this helps. OZARKCHERYL
