|Michael Stephens||Brainard at Mount Mora|
Are you related to the Brainards (Daniel & Mary) buried at Mount Mora Cemetery in St Joseph? If not, I would like to transfer Daniel's memorial to myself. However, are you close to Mt Mora? The Brainards are great-grandparents to a cousin of mine and he is actually in St Joseph today (July 1) to find their markers. Do you recall if there are markers for them? or do you have a contact person at Mt Mora?

My name is Phyllis Brazzell and I have been trying to research the Gilpatrick side of my family. Supposedly my great grandfather and grandmother and several other members are buried at Highland. I can only find one marker there though. Would you happen to know who takes care of this cemetary so that I can maybe contact them. Thank you for any help.

Ok, I hope so. There are two more military headstones by the old shed. One person is buried in that cemetery. The other is not listed on Find A Grave.

John M Gibbons military headstone in the Shawnee Cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial# 146891214.
(((6/20/15 Email from John Gibbons))):::: "Yes, I emailed Reser and they told me it would cost $177 more to have it set by some third party. My sister and I are wondering why after all this time why it will cost this when it should have been done in 1957 when Dad was buried. We are meeting today to talk about it down here in Texas. If you would let me know what you would charge it would be helpful.
We surely want it done and just want to make sure we have the best price for doing so.
Thanks for your attention to this overlooked detail. John Gibbons"
Do you know the contact number for Riverside Cemetery? And do you know if a reg. person can set a headstone in Riverside? Vickie

Hi Deb -
Thank you for your work with findagrave.com! I'm researching my Coffelt relatives and found Daniel's memorial. Find A Grave Memorial# 22556493
I'm trying to verify information on his first wife, Amanda Scruggs. I was wondering if you linked his memorial to Amanda Osborn, or if that was added later. I thought that Amanda had passed before Daniel married Rebecca, but this is leading me to believe they divorced and both remarried. Any info you have would be appreciated

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure you're correct. I've also seen several documents that say that John & Nellie McGriff were buried there, but I'm 99% sure that their stones aren't still intact (or legible). We searched the whole place pretty thoroughly.
Thanks for all the memorials you've added!

Deb, I think I found his son. I'm sending him a litter about the headstone. He is in his 70s so he may or may not be able to deal with the problem. But he has children that may take care of the placing of the stone. Thanks Vickie

This is my Dad's grave. I was surprised when I did a search on his name, just to see if anything would come up, and found this picture. I am not offended or anything, but just curious as to who took the picture and why? Do you guys just take pictures of all the graves and put them on here? I am thankful that it is here. He died when I was 13. He was only 39. We moved to a different state not long after, and I have not been able to go back and visit. I would very much like to post on his page all that I know about him. How can I go about doing that?

Deb I found a John M Gibbons military headstone in the Shawnee Cemetery, Find A Grave Memorial# 146891214. I think your John McIntosh Gibbons Find A Grave Memorial# 53067088, buried in Riverside Cemetery, is the same person. His death cert. shows him buried in Riverside Cemetery, but his military stone is in the Shawnee Cemetery. Do you know this family? Do you have anyway to contact his family members? This stone should be with his main headstone at Riverside. Thanks

Deb, I was wondering if you had any more details on Eleanor "Nellie" Phillips McGriff (Find A Grave Memorial# 18680043)? I couldn't find her headstone and the headstone photo on her page says "Stewart".
Do you have documentation that shows Eleanor and her husband (John) are buried there, but they don't have headstones?
Thanks for any light you can shed on this,
